Best Staller In The Format

Thing is, that pineapple is gonna die fast thanks to the speed this format has and it's horrid HP for a stage 2, which is a 2 hit KO by most standard decks. A staller of note could be DuskGar deck since both have powers that do bad things when you KO them <_<

Thing is, once that first hit has been done ludicolo will heal more than half its HP once it attacks with Best Dance. And if its poke-power is used, ALL of its HP will be healed :p which makes it a difficult "2 hit KO" and thus an annoying staller.

Okay, then tell me how do you even plan to get three energy cards on it to even attack, stuff these days hit hard for an energy or two. Unless you can get some magic accelerator, you're not gonna do much with him.

Example, against an Infernape 4 deck, it could deal an optimal 120 damage by TURN 2. That's like the time you need to even get a ludi to the field, against kingdra and macheap, their turn one swarm capabilities will simply overwhelm ludicolo thus making it crumple into toilet paper. Don't even get me started on common decks like GGW, Dialga, Flygon and Beedrill

By building it (energies) up on the bench. Besides, your totally losing the plot here, I'm talking about a staller - the purpose of this thread - not an ace strategy to win you the game :S.

You're the one missing the point. What's the use of a staller that's gonna die in 2 hits? The topic is Best Staller in the Format, and there is no valid arguement that Ludicolo Pt can fit the description.

It's not going to die in two hits though. Thats like saying gengar has a useless HP too and he will die in two hits which is not the case. Stop looking at its HP and examine its attacks. Also, for a change, why don't you suggest something (excluding the ones mentioned) instead of picking at mine constantly?

When it said best, I already stated the deck that actually does the job consistently.

I looked at it's attacks, three energies, not fast enough, power, can be warp pointed out. Gengar and Ludi have a difference, gengar can take down the opponent with a coin flip which requires a person to think of craftier ways to kill it without activating the power. Ludi won't be able to set up fast enough to actually do what it can do.

Meda: You'd still have to think a way to constantly recharge your Ludis after one goes down.

How could I have forgotten Gigas as a staller, seriously, only macheap can knock it out cold.

Bastiodon PT is another fun little staller. The Gengar resist is nice too. Attach Unown G and you heal at the same time + special metal. Again, 'Queen would help, and leftovers is fun too.

Dusknoir SF. With all of the SP decks running around, Dusknoir kills some of them. Toxicroak needs only 2 to attack, Dialga G can't use Deafen, Palkia G can't use Splashing turn, since all they do is put 2 energies on them, and then an Energy Gain. (so technically, Night Spin would still own them. :))

Dusknoir is still very good and good be very fast in many ways.

Gigas Lv.X w/ Snowpoint FTW!!!!

Palkia LV.X can constantly drag out any tech with high-retreat cost. And I'm sure your opponent has THAT many Warps around.

I'm not exactly sure if this is legal, but if so:
59 Grass Energy
1 Skull fossil

You bassically stall till your opponent forfiets.

You need at least one Basic in a deck, JC. ;p.

dmaster out.

SO true. This is without a doubt the best staller in the format. Special Metal + leftovers/Unown G is hell. Let's not forget possible Nidoqueen techs, Pokehealr+, and even Life Herb. Yes, it is slow and hard to get out, but when it does, it is ecxceedingly difficult to beat!

I would have to say
What Juliacoolo said(I believe it is legal because you can start with fossil)
Wailord(duh)
Rhyperior LV.X due to Massive HP and it can attack for average too.
