Best Starter in G&G?

i would say stantler/absol ut not furret because its a stage one so does that count as a starter? but any way stanler absol/ because stantler can grab you that holon mentor to get your set up going on the other hand asol can extremely distrupt your opponents set up. either way its down to personal preference.

I definitely agree with that assesment.

Furrent is not classified as a starter IMO.

Absol/Stantler are ok, I personally lean towards Absol, becuase your able to significantly hinder their operations while your getting setup!
 
I didn't think much of Furret of a starter either, but quite a few people are playing it as a starter.

I think stantler is probably actually better, because it can really help you get going.
But on the other hand, if you play Stantler, and your opponent plays Absol, you are almost definately gunna get screwed early on, and thus lose the game.

So, with that in mind, I think absol is probably the best one.
 
Furret FTW.
I played Furret Before and i usually got a T3 Gallade.
When I played stantler I got T4 Gallade
 
Furret is alot faster then most people think (sentrent gropes ftw). Absol is the best though. Kills pokes (hopefully) or slows down energy drops or delays thier entire set-up 2-3 turns, which means you get up "faster" then with either starter.
 
Furret isn't a starter for petes sake, I would like to see Furret get out during the set up. Sentret, Absol and Stantler are the best choices
 
Stantler/Absol> Furret but it doesn't apply that way if it was sentret..
IMO absol's the best..it can really slow ur opponent down..Sentret is good for me..groping rocks..it can get ur furret out and search quicker..but it's a little slower
i'll have to put it this way
1. Absol
2. Sentret (furret)
3. Stantler
 
Yea, but once furret is out, Keen Eye the cards you need Attach Dre to Furret Baton Pass DRE to Gallade.

But, still,

Absol/Stantler > Furret.
 
well i played furret and won cities when the other's were using absol (only good if you discard good cards and doesnt help set up) I'd probably say Stanler/Furret tied then Absol either way it truly depends on your build of the deck trainer lines and meta game/how you play it. I can honestly say I have never seen 2 deck lists the exact same for gg

plus groping is awesome and lots of the time you a start with a sentret and a celios draw a celios grope a celios grope a celios grope a furret draw a furret can use a castaway/scott to get a celios anyways the point is if your

build is right you should have at least a turn 3 furret which makes up for all the lost time and once furret comes out absol fails also yes what kamewie said is always nice when you need a quick extra damage and late game furret can be helpful to sacrifice while getting any 2 cards to activate a scramble


i think if you think of it as starters then stanler,absol,sentret but adding everything after the start clearly makes furret the best do you play dark energies to use raid ? probably not do you want to attach 2 energies to do 20 with a stanler no way


maybe i did to much explaining but yeah
 
Furret is a great starter, (Grope xD) but Chingling/mecho still is my favourite starter, cause i had some T1 wins with Chimecho vs. Rioulu :p
 
I like Chingling because three things:

-It's Funny name =)
-Better Artwork lol
-My often T1 win with Chimecho :D
 
yes, but all those guy' said this only cause stantler has 30 more HP, but Chimecho has the same HP
 
KK, you could think that, but IMO with Baby evo. Chimecho doesn't count as a Stage 1 ^^

And in my Gallade deck i came out really fast

T1 Inviting Bell > Rosenne
T2 Rosenne > Ralts + Chimecho, i can draw 3 cards
T3 I often have a Rare Candy + Gallade + DRE cause i play 4 of each (excluding Gallade ^^)
