Yeah, I doubt it, but I can't think of a better reason for Ash not having a full party, since he has 7 pokes already.

I'd actually like to know why Snivy is closer to Iris in the poster. Isn't it Ash's Pokemon? Excadrill is most likely on there because they don't want to reveal any more of Iris's Pokemon. I would quite like to know why Cilan's Dwebble isn't on the poster as well.

The position of Pokémon relative to people means nothing. It's just whereever the graphic designer who designed the poster wanted to pop them in.

New characters to appear in movie 14.

Seems interesting especially the bad guy(?). Goruugu, Sazandora, Rankururu and Gochiruzeru appearing, is also interesting.

I think the Lillipup and the Blitzle will just be movie characters, but I hope they aren't because I'd like them to be on the main cast, as silly as it sounds. And I wonder if the final starter evolutions are just random additions, or if they are in the movies, like Movies 1 and 10.

Dogasu has provided information on the manga version of the movie, which has to do with the movie itself.

Chapter one.
-It seems there are more allies from the other village besides Shade or Aude that join Dread.
-Dread has Sigilyph also. Reuniclus is nowhere to be seen.
-Victini actually does turn invisible.
-Long ago, the King of the People of the Earth allied with Victini to keep his kingdom prosperous. The king's twin sons, one who controlled Reshiram and one who controlled Zekrom, fought viciously until the dragons were tired out, at which point they turned into artifacts called "Dragon Stones." The war stopped, but the earth never became prosperous again.
-Using his power, the King of the People of the Earth created "Protecting Pillars" (the strange pillars seen many times in the trailer) to seal Victini within a certain area of the castle, then used it to fly the castle onto the cliff where Eind Oak was founded. Victini cannot leave the barrier formed by the Protecting Pillars and has been trapped for thousands of years.


- Some exposition with Dread visiting a village that has some of the "People of the earth." Dread reveals that he can call on Reshiram whenever he wants.
- Satoshi, Iris, and Dent are heading toward Aint Oak to attend the harvest festival there.
- Meanwhile, a Deerling is trying to get an apple from a tree on the mountainous path leading up to the town. Victini shows up suddenly and startles it, causing it to lose its footing. Ash shows up and saves it just in the knick of time.
- As soon as he picks up the deer pokemon however, it's Ash who finds himself needing to be rescued. Without anyone seeing, Victini touches Ash's foot. He slides down the cliff and makes and uses the foot Victini touched to make an impossible jump across a giant gorge.
- Ash finds the entrance to a cave. He can feel air coming from the cave, so he tells Iris and Cilan that he'll follow it and try to find a way out. The other two, meanwhile, will try to find their own way around the mountain.
- Inside the cave, Victini touches Ash again and gives him the power to figure out how to make his way through the maze-like caverns. He eventually emerges inside the castle that towers over Aint Oak.
- Ash reunites with his friends. He's hungry, so Cilan feeds him some French pastries known as macaron. Victini steals one without anyone noticing.
- The trio hears the fireworks that signal the start of the festival, so they rush to find their way out of the castle. Luckily for them, Dread appears and offers to lead them back to town.
- When they arrive, they learn about Victini, the victory pokemon who lends its power to the people and pokemon around it.
- The battle tournament starts. Ash fights all three of the final forms of the Unova starters. In his fight against Samurott, Victini gives Ash's Tepig a power boost that enables it to defeat its opponent. It does the same thing in Scraggy's fight against Carlita's Hydreigon.
- Eventually, Carlita figures out that Victini had been helping Ash in his battles and brings this to their attention. He uses some of Ash's macaron to lure it out of hiding.

Anywhere, a few other random tidbits:
- Victini doesn't seem to be able to talk.
- The Rocket trio seems to be their pre-BW selves. Meowth's costume is pretty ridiculous, and I can't really see Jessie making the same face, the Jessie in this manga makes after Victini steals the fruit she was going to eat.
- Iris uses her "You're such a kid?" catchphrase at some point.
- Cilan thinks the battle between Ash's Tepig and the trainer's Samurott will have a "Bitter taste."

Looks like they go out into outerspace. I feel sorry for Victini. I like the look of the sword of the earth and apparently, Dread dies near the end, we don't know yet.

A summary of it.

Victini has been imprisoned inside Eind Oak for over a thousand years by a spell cast by the king from that era. The movie's villain, who already controls Reshiram or Zekrom depending upon the movie, wants to manipulate the boundaries confining Victini to force it into powering a flying castle he will then use to get revenge for the downfall of his people.

SPACE! The world needs more of it.

(That's why I love the DP episode, where, despite the absurdity, the evil Togepi causes mischief and everyone almost gets exploded by a passing Rayquaza. Fun times.)

But yeah, not really much to see in this trailer. Shiny Pokémon though, which is pretty nifty, given that they're a rarity in the anime. Only Noctowl, Donphan and Ariados spring to mind.

there are more shiny pokemon in the anime you can look it up at serebii.net to see them all and i really cant wait for this movie to come out in teh U.S it seems very good i have the shiny even golurk and the victini event i am soon going to get shiny hydreigon event

There is a chance that both of these movies might air this year, but there is a more likely chance that it will air early next year. Pokemon Movie 12 was the only movie (in the Diamond and Pearl series) that aired in the same year, the other movies aired early next year.

True, But reason for most of those Movies airing early the following year, (The only exception being The Rise of Darkrai) Was becuase they were to get people hyped for the upcoming Main Series Games. Like how Giratina and the Sky Warrior was to promote Platinum, and how Zoroark Master of Illusions were to get people hyped for Black and White. Arceus and the Jewel of Life aired in the United States in 2009, The same year as it's Japanese release. This happened just months after Pokemon Company went International.

I know that has nothing to really do with the movie airing early, but it's quite a coincidence. And the first english trailer of Arceus and the Jewel of Life did air at an International Film Festival in Europe. The reason why that Zoroark Master of Illusions didn't air last year becuase The movie was mainly about Zorua and Zoroark, So, TPCi waited until February of this year to air the movie because it was only a month before Black and White's release and they wanted to use Zorua and Zoroark in the movie to get people hyped for Black and White for maximum sales.

There is no upcoming Main Series Game so, they really have nothing to delay the movies and get people hyped for something, Our next English TCG set is
Emerging Powers, Which will have the rest of the Japanese Black Collection and White Collection that were cut from our first Black and White set, And the cards from the Battle Strength Decks. So, for our November English TCG set, The cards that we get would either be cut cards from the Battle Strength Decks(If there are any) And cards from Red Collection, Or from The new Japanese Sets coming out in Japan in September. We may get most of the Cards from Red Collection.

Then we have been in Season 14 of the Anime since February. We know The Victini Movies will air sometime during Season 14. Each Season has been around 50 or 60 episodes. It won't be long before Season 14 will be ending in Japan. Each Season last around about a year, And Season 14th began in Japan in September of last year, So, Season 14th maybe ending around September. And with the Dub going fast as it is, We could have the September episodes airing here in the United States around December.

There aren't that many Events left before the Movie Events. All we have left that we may get is the Trade For Evolution! Event, Ash's Scraggy, and Snarl Zoroark. But this is just speculation right now, The Movies could air next year, But just to put this out there, It's not all that impossible.

I like how Swanna and the Ducklett are in a river/lake like that, it's a nice touch and I like how Victini and Ash are playing with each other. I'm starting to really like Dread's design, It's a shame he's evil and I heard that he might end up dying. I hope he doesn't, just like I hope Victini doesn't die.

Some bits we've seen but there's new content in there too. Serperior makes a brief appearance, another Emboar shot, and Golurk flying. Lolwut. I like that the flames on the shiny are a different colour to the regular version though. Nice attention to detail there.
