Bianca... Good? Bad? Ugly?

Hey Pokebeach members, I just wanted to get you opinions on this draw power supporter known as Bianca. Is it any good? Is it bad? Is it too ugly to see play in any deck?

Uxie has become a Supporter. Yippee. One of my fav cards has been reincarnated. Probably going to be a major card.

I'm not seeing it. What made Uxie so special is that it was a basic Pokemon with a Poke Power (and I guess if you want to, count the Lv.X). It was easily searchable and didn't waste your Supporter for the turn. Bianca wastes that Supporter, doesn't draw as many cards, and I'd much rather play PONT to get more cards and hand refresh.

It's just a Magnezone in Supporter form. Also...Cheren will be more played....

Oh man this card is ugly, the face she is making, oh man.

I feel that this card is outclassed by PONT, which has already been stated. However, I do feel that it will see minor play because people are always looking for as many hand refresh cards as they can possible cram into something. This card can definitely come in handy if you have like a one card hand, and the card you want to keep is essential to getting something out (like a Rare Candy). This card will not become a staple, but it will become a common one or two card tech.

His face looks as if he just saw a Bianca card lol.

I actually like this card a lot and would play it over PONT or Juniper anyday. I prefer straight draw to getting rid of cards. The only time Juniper is better is if you topdeck it while not having a hand (though this is just as satisfying with Bianca), or if your hand only contains cards you can afford to or want to discard.

I'd also like to add that I think this card is better than Cheren, hands down.

Once I get 2 Cheren and 2 Bianca, I will do 2 battles one with Cheren in 2 decks, and one with Bianca in 2 decks, and see which one works best. (if it matters to anyone the decks I will battling with are BearPlume and KingBuzz.)

it depends on the deck. Bianca might be played in a deck like ZPS where you lose cards from your hand extremely fast, and it's quite normal to have between 0-3 cards in your hand. On the other hand, in a deck like LostGar or something with Vileplume, it won't see as much play, because your hand size is consistantly bigger.

Yes...I now see the similarities.

Isn't that the case for all supporters? It works in some decks but not in others? I guess it's some what worth running. If you have 2 cards in your hand, Rare Candy and Cheren, then you should play that instead of something like PONT that would get rid of your Rare Candy :D

Actually, I think she looks more like a Bibarel

I once played a deck with Birch back in the EX days, and I got completely locked out because I had more than 6 trash cards in my hand that I needed to get rid of. Cheren and PONT are just soooo much better than this....

I mean, don't you hate it when you only Uxie for 1? Now imagine Bianca-ing for 1...and not being able to play any more supporters. Yeah. Sucks.

I don't know, I've been recently considering on running Bianca just cause it's a nice Draw Supporter alternative over Judge and Copycat when PONT is already the main Draw Supporter staple being played in the current format. What makes Bianca better than Juniper and Copycat is that it isn't situational to you or your opponent's hand size and can help you recover quickly on drawpower. So say your Opponent is running Yanmega and they play Judge while you draw into Copycat and you need the draw to do better then Bianca helps more.

People are just trying to find excuses not to run this card, it's good in some decks when it isn't in others. Kind of like how the upcoming N Supporter mainly works best in LostGar decks. It's all in deck preference really. Then again Volker's Philosophy didn't see as much play last format because of Uxie LA and Claydol GE in the format beforehand. We are in a format where Draw Supporters and/or Magnezone Prime are the play in terms of Draw Engines. Budget wise this card is better than Tropical Beach sure the Beach is ongoing but you have to make due with what you can get in the long run.

ive play tested with it and love it
its in no way better than PONT, but its still a good card to be in a deck with him
it usually gets me about 4 cards every time i play it, and rarely i get less than 3 with it

Personally I think the best draw engine staple this format If you're
not running Magnezone Prime and Copycat is PONT and Bianca.

I agree, bianca is for the decks that won't find much use out of the other draw supporters.

Maybe if we have a B/W-On format next year, people will see it differently. In that format, the only draw engines we'll have are Juniper,Cheren,Bianca and N.Now try to downgrade it.

Bianca doesn't look that bad, does she?

I find it funny how much people keep saying it's bad, for as much as Magnezone is being hyped and played. As someone said earlier, it's for decks that don't run Magnezone. I doubt everyone is running it, so it's not god awful. It's pretty much a neutral card based on preference and hand usage. This card even works really well for Rain Dane or Fandango decks. Most of the time, you will put half of your hand to use in one turn from the energy supply, pokemon, and item card usage (well in those decks..at least mine anyway; works so well, like an extra turn since I always have that one card I don't want to reshuffle : P).

Simply put, the only reason this card is not favored over other cards like Cheren, PONT, and Copycat is because the card may lock you in. If you have 7 or more cards, you'd be simply wasting a turn by playing Bianca. If you have 4-6 cards in your hand, you'd still be better off running Cheren. If you have a bunch of evos or supporters you can't get out and are useless now and you NEED CARDS ASAP, Bianca is going to torture you by not giving those cards to you. PONT on the other hand guarantees a new hand of 6, although some repetition of cards may occur.

Bianca is too conditional to play well every time, while Cheren and PONT are more stable and therefore slightly more competitive in the metagame.
