Well I just preordered Bioshock 2 at gamestop.
I want to know how many people here are excited for it as me?
Finally we get a multiplayer option. I liked the storyline of the first game.
The graphics are amazing and it's not like most shooters out there.
here's the link to the wiki. Bioshock 2 Wikipedia

You know that most of the people here are kids. You probably won't get much response.:p Anyway, I've heard Bioshock/bs2 are rpgs. But it's always come of to me as a shooter. So is it a shooter, an rpg, or a mix of both(like Borderlands)?

RPG? No not at all. It's a first person shooter. In a way it could be considered RPG because you can upgrade to different plasmas and stuff. But It's like 100% FPS.

I'm sure most people on this site are between 12-15. Which are teens of course (can still be considered kids). But a lot of people my age (14) play rated M games and even people younger. Also age doesn't make a thread unpopular. Usually my threads just get ignored... I wish I knew why.

They asked me when I pre-ordered it if I wanted the stantard or collector's edition. I was like, "how much is the collector's edition?" They said, "100 bucks". I was like no thank you.. haha.
I can barely afford a/an 60 dollar game, which to me is a bit overpriced.
But it's a good game and so worth it. With the multiplayer and dual wield weapons and I think Plasma. It's just awesome.
What I found out that I didn't know is that the of course you have to put at least 5 bucks for the reserve. but you can put as much as you want. If i'm correct you can just pay the game off right there and then.

Thanks for telling me why it sucks.
How does it suck? Its a great FPS and it has a decent storyline. I can understand if you won't like if you don't like FPS. (First Person Shooter)
But posting a plain unexplained negative comment is not really needed.

Yeah, usually at game stores like Gamestop, you can buy the game in full when you reserve it.

dmaster out.

^ yeah that's what I usually do

Bioshock was one of my favorite games ever. very atmospheric, great storyline. To really enjoy it you have to find lots of those audio diary's and absorb everything. Looked great too

I only beat Bioshock 1, just rented it a few times and beat it with out all the extra stuff. I thought about buying it, but can only have 3 "M" games which for me is Socom, MW2, and BS2 so....

I've just preorded it now, I really need to finish the first one though :p. Apparently there might be Bioshock on the Wii as well, that would be awesome. If only they don't screw it up...

If there is a Bioshock on the Wii, then the game will not have good graphics as the PS3 and the XBOX 360. The Wii won't be able to handle the type of graphics the XBOX 360 and the PS3 have. It would be quite fun, but I don't think it would be as fun playing it on the XBOX 360 or PS3.

The Bioshock story-line is great.

I wouldn't really care about the graphics to be honest I'd just be happy with the great controllers and game play, the Wii Nunchuch and the Remote would fit perfectly with Bioshock.

its pretty sweet. the story isnt as mind boggling as the first one but the controls are much better which makes for smoother gameplay.

havent finished the game or tried multiplayer out yet

Well, I was considering buying it, but I don't know how it plays, what it's about, or how fun it is in general. Probably because I didn't get the first one. :p

yeah you really have to play the first one to understand what the story is really talking about

The story was interesting. I like how what you do to the people and if you resuse or harvest all the little sisters impacts your ending.
I've played like 3-4 hours on multiplayer and it's fun. one thing I think needs fixing is the respawn time. for me it always takes 5-6 secs +.

I got it, and it's very fun. I'm itching to play it now! The storyline is great and engaging so far, like you said. You gotta love all these games that have different endings based on your actions. I really wasn't expecting that for a game like this.

One said this game was a rpg or whatever. the main story has rpg elements in it I guess.
But the multiplayer seems more an rpg than the story mode.
The multiplayer has millions of options.
Which weapons to use, which melee weapon to use, what hat to use, which charcter to play, which special abilitys to use, which plasmids to use, which weapon attachments to use, and etc. (you get the picture, :D)
PS: ShadowLugia do you have live and if so what is your gamertag?
