Strategy
My goal is for a Blastoise, Claydol & BKEX or Raikou set up & swinging by turn 3 for massive damage. Blastoise has Deluge, allowing me to energize the heavy hitters in just one turn with the help of Holon's Castform to replace the Lightning Energy requirement. Claydol keeps the attackers coming, which are BKEX & Raikou EX, who serve to take out Pokémon on the bench before they become a threat or just annihilate them no matter what. Chatot helps so much against locking decks or a bad start & he's one of my favorite Pokémon ever.
For Supporters, I just tried to put good ones together in consistent numbers, put this is where I really need help. There are so many cards in unlimited, idk what would be the best for this deck since I'm a new player. The other trainer cards are kind of basic but any constructive criticism on them or any other part of the deck would be gladly received!

P.S. I'd prefer if the recommended changes used cards from like Hidden Legends-ish & onward. The really old cards like Professor Oak, Super Energy Removal & stuff like that are so OP & not fun to play against!

It's always nice to see people who are interested in Unlimited. First, let me recommend our alternate format Complete Palace which is a dedication to the Japanese format "Palace", and it was created in order to use older cards, but also to create a balanced, interesting, new, and fun metagame.

For the deck, I really like it, but let me recommend some changes. These are just optional, however, as the deck is already pretty good! Nice addition of Holon's Castforms! It's an interesting idea for a Rain Dance deck, to be honest. I feel like the 4 Call Energy cards is a bit too much, I prefer to use 4 only if I use Phione (or Spiritomb) too. In this case, I'd use something else and drop them. I'd add 1 Scott in order to get the required Supporters, maybe with the addition of Sableye, Pachirisu (GE) or something else. I also don't feel like Steven's Advice in this Deck, especially because of the low amount of energies you use. Maybe I'd add something which searches energies too. How about Roseanne's Research?

Thanks, your format idea is really interesting & I'll definitely start building a deck for that! I like the idea of having Spiritomb or Sableye, & have gone back and forth over Roseanne's Research or Pokemon Collector. Scott would also be a welcome addition, but why no Steven's? One problem I have run into is starting with a lone Castform. The deck really doesn't pick up speed like I want it to, but I opted for him over Holon's Magneton or Electrode because he is easily searchable. Does anyone else have any ideas or input to give? Unlimited is so underrated, so many cards to play with, you never know what is going to happen & so many more Pokemon shine that had otherwise been overlooked...

I love the Unlimited format! So long as people don't try to win on the first turn of course.

I think it may be better to use a Misty's Wrath and Sage's Training engine to ditch the Water energy and get it back with Superior Energy Retrieval and Junk Arm. That plus Pokemon Retriever for your Castform.

I'm with Sheodon about Roseanne's Research, since right now, you have no way of grabbing basic Energy, not to mention, that once they're gone, there's no way to shuffle them back in either, and you're stuck with Castform and no Water to combo with. 6 Supporters that search for 1 Pokemon also seems a bit much with 4 Collectors; so replacing the Collectors with Roseanne's seems like it would be nice. Oh, and you don't really need the Steven's when you have Claydol.

You might think about using Skyla instead of your Bebe's; it can grab Luxury Ball (so it can do the same thing anyway), Crystal Wall, Rare Candy, Retriever, and it can also search Junk Arm which I feel would be a good card to add for even more versatility. Junk Arm can even reuse Crystal Wall!

If you use Skyla, 1 Professor's Letter is also good.
