As we all know some rumored beta art for the anime was floating around forums this week with out any legitimacy to it. Well it is now confirmed as real as at the end of today's episode in Japan it was announced that the new Black and White anime would be called Pokemon Black and White Best Wishes. It showed the silhouettes for two new characters one of them being the new girl we saw in the beta art. Her name is Iris. Go to serebii for proof or for more info if you don't believe me. Have fun speculating as I have to go to work.

I'll wait for official comfirmation of a name, I think...

So, Ash gets two new friends and explores a new world! (Again.) Yay.

Yeah and Team Rocket is in the new series as well. Go figure, I'll still miss Jessie's Wobbuffet cause it's one of my favorite Pokemon.

Kind of a shame they dumped Brock and Dawn but it was for the best I guess. The new female character definitely looks nothing like the one in the new Black & White games supposedly because they wanted to have a girl around Ash's age to accompany him.

Of course Pikachu is back in the new series as well too, why wouldn't it? It's the mascot of the series afterall. Then again as for the video spoiled below about the new series supposedly titled, "Pokemon: Best Wishes" it seems like they might end up replacing Ash in the series.

Either way as long as Pikachu is still in the series it should be good.
