Hey all!

I don't usually post too often here, but here goes.

So I'm releasing a brand new set of blanks for B/W faking this Summer, and to keep everyone on hold while I take forever to complete them alongside my exams, here's some promo ones for people to test out! :D

FIRE_BASIC
FIRE_STAGE1
FIRE_STAGE2

DARK_BASIC
DARK_STAGE1
DARK_STAGE2

COLORLESS_BASIC

Click the desired blank to download.

Here's a PSD Font Guide to use specifically alongside these:

TAKE ME TO THE FONT GUIDE

(Please use these versions of the blanks instead of the ones provided in the font guide - these are updated versions)

And here's a symbol sheet to use with them:

Thanks and enjoy! I await your creations :).

Ok, I'll be honest. I clicked on this thread, and totally wasn't expecting to see something this great. I was expecting something more... Eh... But you, sir, have done an amazing job so far! Keep it up! I like the Latios! Great art!

Thank you very much! I've been doing this business quite a long time now! Just rarely get a chance to post stuff on here :).

Preview of the EX blanks - please if anyone spots somethings not quite right, please notify me so I can rectify it before the release :).

I notice you've switched from the three rows of flavor text used in the guide to four. I used your guide, and tried to adapt it to four rows of text, but had trouble getting the text legible (at least when using black text). Do you have any advice in this regard?

(I'm using aschefield101's blanks rather than yours, but any difference in size appears to be slight.)

A font guide with placement help will be released alongside the blanks.

In most pre-BW flavor text entries, the amount of lines is usually three lines rather than four, and in most BW flavor text entires, the amount of lines is usually four. Latios made two pre-BW Pokemon fakes and one BW Pokemon fake, which explains the difference.

His guide, and it is a BW guide, shows three lines. His new dragon card, and it is a BW dragon card, has four. There was a change.

I think what Hope means is that most Gen I-IV Pokémon have shorter Pokédex entries, equating to only three lines of text, while most Unova Pokémon have longer 'dex entries, thus necessitating the need for four lines of text.

Cyndaquil and Latios are pre-Gen V 'mons, so they have slightly shorter Pokédex entries. Axew, on the other hand, is from Gen V (and has a longer flavor text) so it requires four lines instead.

Essentially, the line number has to do with Pokédex entry length....not necessarily a specific three- or four-line requirement.

With Axew, it's attack should read "Flip a coin. If tails, this Pokémon does 10 damage to itself, and don't apply Weakness to this damage. If heads, this attack does 20 more damage", otherwise, good Axew card.
