TCG Fakes Blah's Text-Based Fakes (With Some Image-Based) - Looking for Another Artist!

Power levels look good on these most recent cards! Just for Sunfauna, you need to specify both where the Energy can be attached, and you actually have to write "Energy cards" instead of just "Energy". You always add "card" to the end of "Energy" if you are referring to Energy that is not attached to a Pokemon.

Also, don't forget to put "This attack" in front of "does" for the Solar Drain attack!

As for which type orb, I think you'd have to see how they look as a smaller size on the blank. However, I'm leaning to either 2 or 3 right now.

Ah, yeah. I forgot to add 'This attack' in front. I typed most of the original text out before the BW era, so they're bound to have minor inconsistencies.

Fixing that and the other thing on Sunfauna. I just want to have all the errors/whatevers ironed out before I make the image version of these cards.

And the type orb, I have to agree. #1 is too busy when scaled down. I'll see what they look like when smaller. <note to self: post smaller images here when finished>

I actually finished these last night, but was too involved playing Priston Tale to post them.

Sunshine Type Stage 1 Blank.png

Sunshine Type Stage 2 Blank.png

I think I want to go with the second orb.

Lasarat spoiler:

Still working in PDN, lol. I just can't seem to get myself to switch to GIMP. And there's Jabberwock's Magearna (actually Magiana) EX (using it for reference <_<).

Updated all of the cards to be in the right fonts (hopefully). I'm uploading them to the OP. Also, I have a question: where in the set lineup would I put an EX of a Pokemon that is an evolved version of a previous generation's Pokemon? I know where it goes if it's a non-EX (it goes directly after the previous stage of evolution, defying the dex order rule), but not if it's an EX.

EDIT: Updated the OP. Also, I still need a set symbol x_x. I'll get around to making one eventually, but if someone has a good idea, please don't hesitate to suggest one :D.

Regular EXs that are evolved versions of a previous generation's Pokemon will not defy the deck order rule, as shown by Gallade-EX in Roaring Skies.

With some of the art that has no background, the artist has put a self-credit logo outside of the actual Pokemon's border. Can I remove this, since I will be crediting the artist on the card itself? It's just that it would look weird on the card. Here's the art (by Xous54): http://xous54.deviantart.com/art/Kingdra-v-2-149192387 And here's the background I'm using:
1.jpg

Yeah, you can remove that symbol from Kingdra if it's Xous' art. It's more there so that people don't just steal it and claim it as their own.

Alrighty, in that case, here is(are) the newest card(s):

Dragonite.png
Kingdra.png

I finally found the right font for the stat bar \o/.

EDIT: Added illus line on Kingdra.

Also, I've got a sort of set symbol: CAV Symbol.png But I think it's too small, and when I scale it up, it gets too blurry :V.

UPDATE: 5 cards are now image-based:

Hey. I made these a while back. It's not much, and some of them might be are OP. It's a set that I've called 'Cobalt: Amazing Victories.'

(I've used the Japanese rarity system with the holo cards being 'RH'.)

Some of these Pokémon are Fakemon, thought up by me. Sadly, I am no artist (at least of this kind; if you wanted a pixel artist, sure xD), so there are only sorta bad drawings of them: http://imgur.com/a/5Fquh

Hey, that Jirachi reminds me of my Jirachi-EX i'm making in my set! I'll post a text-based fake of it in an upcoming thread :)

I've decided to scrap the Ancient Traits on these because I don't want to go through the trouble of making AT blanks and blending the art into the background.

Also, I'm making some more cards as I type this (sorta). I'll post them here when I finish a couple more, and update the OP.

EDIT: Updated OP to include 5 more image-based cards. Tell me if I've forgotten something >_<.

I suggest you to include any new image-based cards in your updates instead of directing them to the OP, since it's easier on your viewers than searching the OP for new stuff. =)

Normally I would agree, but I put them at the very top of the OP. But you're right, I did intend to put them in the update post as well. I'll post them here (if the upload button works <_<) Looks like the upload feature is currently broken, and external image links with [img] tags around them don't work either. At least in Firefox.

How would I word an Ability that allows a Pokémon to use attacks on its previous stages of evolution? Just...

"This Pokémon can use the attacks of its previous stages of evolution. (You still need the necessary Energy to use each attack.)"

or...?

I reckon you'd want something like this:

This Pokémon can use any attack from its previous Evolutions. (You still need the necessary Energy to use each attack.)
[References: Celebi-EX, Shrine of Memories]

A very similar effect has been seen before in the TCG (most recently in Shrine of Memories), so that wording should be completely accurate. :)

Ah, ok. Thanks. I think I'm gonna put this on my set's Charizard, but I don't know if it'll fit on the card, lol. It'll have two Abilities.

EDIT: Here's the Charizard: http://i.imgur.com/dl9SwFk.png

I really despise this upload bug :v. Lol

EDIT: Is the Charizard I posted above too OP?
I would say the Charizard is only as OP as the Charmander, Charmeleon, and other Charizard in your format. :p Still, the HP could do with a bit of lowering to about 150-160, as seems to be the norm for Charizard nowadays, or even further to 140, seeing as how this Charizard is quite a bit more versatile than the average Charizard. :)
