Hi, i need some help with my first deck,
do you think this deck can work?

Pokemon:
4-3-4 Blastoise
3-3 floatzel
3 cleffa

T/S/S:
3 Interviewers Questions
2 Switch
4 Pokemon Communication
1 Flower Shop Lady
4 Pokemon Collector
4 Professor Oaks New Theory
4 Rare candy
2 Twins
2 Professor Juniper
1 Energy Retrieval

Energias:
4 DCE
9 Water

Thanks!

You need to add a Strategy to the decklist in the first post.

dmaster out.

-3 cleffa, -1 collector, -2 twinns and -1 energy retrieval.=7 Now what i would add is 2 mantine, 3 kyurem, and +2 fisherman. The mantine will help with getting stuff out faster and the kyurem will help with k0's with blastoise and the fisherman is for retrieving energy. The thing i say wrong with your deck is you only had 4 blastoise and no back up. so if 1 were prized you would only have 3 probly resulting in a loss. So the kyurem can back you up. --Peace!!

Hi deigo, you ever thought of adding delibird in there? I'm running same strat but my pokemon linelup is alittle different.
(this is what my little brother is taking to regionals in a few days)

I put...
4-2-3 bastoise
3-3 floatzel
2 delibird (I wanted 3, but only have 2 in the momment)
1 mantine
I threw in a zekrom and reshiram but thats arguable

I have only 2 rare candies, I think four is kinda pointless especially if you have 3 wartortles.
I have 2-2 beartic in there as well to stall while I set up bench if delibird isn't cutting it.
(beartic with the one energy attack that does 30 and puts them to sleep)

Hope my post gave you something to consider. (def try out delibird imo)

You don't want less than three Candy when running stage 2s, and 4 is better. Wartortle and Floatzel have a big bullseye on their back saying "kill meeee" with under 100 HP each. The last thing you want is for a energized stage 1 in this deck to get catchered and killed. I would say get rid of a Wartortle. Likewise, Cleffa I think helps stage 2s. Mantine is nice, but if you don't start with it, you have to wait a turn to even use it's power, and if you have to use it on a basic, or have a bad hand...I don't like it myself. It can be great, and is good in theorymon, but it's too inconsistent imo to be worth it. This has been the case at least in my Blastzel/Blastgatr plays.

Kyurem makes sense when it comes out, but I think two will suffice. You don't need to Glaciate all that often for Hydro Launcher to do it's job.

-1 Wartortle
-1 Cleffa
-1 IQ

+2 Kyurem
+1 Fisherman

@Magnevire
The mantine thing is arguable I agree, but I would def say to the op to consider 2-3 delibird.
(atleast until that beastmode kyurem card comes out)
I think you bring up a good point about the rarecandies, I run a stage one cappuccino deck (zoroark and cinccino main attackers) and I love catchering and OHKOing a wartortle when I play against that type of deck.

Exactly. I myself used to run Magneboar in tournaments and I still have the deck. It's amazing the kind of bullseye poor little Magneton has on him XD If it weren't for trainer lock, I'd probably run a 3-0-3 cause other than lock, Magneton is pretty useless.

That the Delibird with Snowy Present btw? Doesn't it draw relative to the energy attached to it?

Ya this dude at my local league had won city championship or something like that (wherever it is that they give you a medal that you can put around your neck- he had like two of'em) and he used that in his blastoise/floatzel deck. Its pretty nice if he can get floatzel(s) out pretty quick.
