Now don't yell at me, but that card feels like Dialga is part of the background and not the focus, if you get my meaning? :)

Its highly possible its because its not 3D. Ah dunno.

Hmm, after looking at it for a bit I sorta agree. There's little to none shading on the actual art (that you can see with textures on it). But there's nothing I can really do about that.

You could try blurring the background to give it a bit of depth.

I love seeing fake packs -- especially when done this well! I'm excited for the set and can't wait to see Crystal Pokémon!

Thanks a lot, I also love seeing fake packs. It's just something that I like.

Oh yeah, I'm gonna release the cards a little differently than before. It'll be 10 a week, just like a booster. When something cool pops up (Holo, Crystal, Shiny, ect.) it'll also be posted as a single. :)

Its the neck, it would technically go over the Basic bar, otherwise you've just beheaded Lugia hehe :D

Its possible if you make him larger, move him down a bit, let the neck/head go over the Basic bar etc, it might fill it more. I think thats why it feels "less full" so to speak. Tis the exact same issue I've had with nearly all 3D art that have large necks, pain in the backside :(

Looks pretty awesome from what I can tell so far. The thing with the neck doesn't bother me too much, though I do agree that the art should be moved down a bit. I'm not really comfortable with the text touching the artwork. Also, you need to put the type symbol over all the special effects.

Regardless, I think this is looking much better than the official Plasma Lugia EX!

Yes they are quite a pain. I've fixed it now though and it looks so much better, I haven't resized it but it looks a lot more full now :)

Actually the symbol does under the effects, look at Terrakion EX, the effect goes over the symbol and covers it pretty well! I might make it a bit more dull there though.

You know, I think that's the only official EX card that I've seen do that. All the others I've seen appear to have the effect below the symbol or just wrap around it (though I have seen two or three with the Pokémon itself overlapping the symbol).

Looking back at the scans, it looks like all of the regular Pokémon EX from Dragons Exalted had the special effects over the symbols. In Plasma Storm, the effects appear to be over the symbols as well, but they're more dodgy and the only thing that seems to overlap them are the shadows of the special effects, which don't dull down the symbols. In Plasma Freeze, the only effect above the symbol is the outer glow around the Pokémon, while all the other effects appear to be behind the symbol.

So I guess it isn't wrong for you to have the effects above Lugia EX's type symbol, but I just don't like how dull it makes it look. :/

If you mean the top right type symbol, then yeah, art can and does go over that on EX's/LV.X's.

What it cannot go over though is everything else (attack text/digits/icons/symbols/etc). Makes trying to warp existing images to fit them a pain in the ass :D
