1. Depends from which set, and where you get it from.
2. eBay, preferably from a well known Pokemon Box seller. There are many of them.

Does anyone know the odds of pulling a Leafeon lv X from a MD box?

1/4 chance of getting a leafeon out of the 4 LV.X's as there are only 1-2 LV.X per box so maybe 1/6'ish but you can ususally get a box for $70-$110

no it's not 1/4 , the chances of pulling a Leafeon are low and plus you may not even get a Lv.x in a MD box.

I support the 1/6 figure. But the assumption is that you will need to get the 6 boxes from an original case. If you just walk into a card shop and buy 6 boxes, you may still get ZERO Leafoen X.

I have/have seen 12 sealed Majestic Dawn boxes opened and they all have have just 1 Lv. X each. And I have seen 3 Leafeon LV. X in the 12 boxes. (6 of the 12 boxes was part of a case and there is 1 Leafeon X, the other 6 are just here and there.)
