Broken Poke-Power?

@ festizzio

We need more variety in the game, and that is what Instant Luck would bring. Its not a Redundant Poke-Power because you can chose whether or not to use it (or to even include the Pokemon in your deck). If you don't feel like risking it, then don't play it. I don't see the huge downside. If you get 2 Tails, you can still play your Super Scoop Up like regular. If you need to use Powers the next turn then don't risk it. Simple as that.

No, it IS redundant. Why in the world would you flip TWO coins just to use a trainer that normally only requires ONE coin flip? On top of that, if you get two tails, you can't use Poke-powers next turn. HUGE risk, NO reward.

Should be something ridiculous, like flip 5 coins, if all of them are heads, EVERY coin flip on your next turn is treated as heads, if at least one of them is tails, your opponent may take two prize cards. If all are tails, you lose the game. As long as we're talking about powers that will never be made, we might as well make them as insane as possible.

OR "Flip two coins if both are heads skip your opponents next turn". There are ridiculous Poke-POWERS out there but no one is complaining about them, why? because they don't care about using them. Like I said, you don't HAVE to include it in your deck or even bother with it. Why in the world would someone flip two coins instead of one? because they CAN. Its variety. Players love having options and being creative. There are so many combos that could go with such a Poke-POWER besides trainers. of which include Attacks and other Poke-POWERs.

I agree. Time Skip, anyone? It's still legal, so why not use it? And it's based on your opponent's luck, not your own, so it gets around Shiftry RR.
