When I said that Metal has had its day in the sun, and it is going to op out for 1-2 formats. I am sorry. I realize my mistake. This card is amazing.

Why exactly is it amazing??
The ability is amazing, but what takes advantage of that ability?
Why was eelektrik good? Because Rayquaza scored OHKOs
metal pokes can't do that.

I am thinking of Dialga-EX/Bronzong. 150 for -2 metal energy. If you have float stone it will become a huge threat.

Dialga EX with LaserBank actually sounds legit good. All you need is 2 Bronzongs on bench to refuel it each turn. Plus there's obviously Mewtwo EX, who will most likely see play anyways due to Fighting decks.

Big difference between Eels and Bronzong is that the former had level ball to use, but that won't be around in the new format. One might argue that Evolution Soda could take its place however.

I really really really hope that we get another Ball. I'm starting to hate this twist towards putting EVERYTHING in Supporter cards.. Energy Removal, finding Basics, returning Pokes to hand, Switching opponent's active, etc etc etc..

But as a Stage 1 and a deck full of basics, EvoSoda could be played I guess.. Ultra Balls for discarding energy as needed.
