Who is Buckethead is he in a band?

His best songs he does are solo, but he's been the guitarist for GNR, Praxis, Primus, and I some other ones. He's awesome, a god. He's also the 8th fastest guitarist in the world. He wrote/performed the song "Jordan" in Guitar Hero 2.
