Ruling Buck's Training

You draw two cards, that shouldn't be difficult. Then, as long as Buck's Training is next to your Active Pokemon(that is, the turn you play it), your Active Pokemon do 10 more damage to the opponent's Active Pokemon.

okay well the way i was reading made me think your active pokemon did 10 more damage to itself, thanks for the help. this thread can be closed thank you.

You would do 10 more damage to yourself.

Buck's Training
Draw 2 cards. As long as Buck's Training is next to your Active Pokemon, each of your Active Pokemon's attacks does 10 more damage to the Active Pokemon (before applying Weakness and Resistance).

It just says "to the Active Pokemon", it doesn't specify which one. So self-damage is increased as well as damage to your opponent's Active.

More clear:
You would ONLY do 10 more damage to yourself if you were also damaging yourself.
IE: Mamoswine. He normally does 40 damage to himself, 100 to your opponent, and a 40 damage snipe.
This would change to 50 damage to himself, 110 to your opponent, and the 40 damage snipe stays the same.

Well, right. I thought that was understood.

You don't add "more" damage if you're doing zero. Buck's doesn't make you suddenly start hitting yourself for 10 on every attack. Similarly, PlusPower doesn't make a non-damaging attack (like "Draw a card") do 10 damage.

But if you are damaging yourself, Buck's will make you hit yourself for 10 more.

ya well what about telapassing bucks do u still get the 10 more even though bucks says that if this card is right next to the active attacks gets 10 more

If you Telepass Buck's Training, is it next to your Active Pokemon at the time of attack? No. It has to be played as your Supporter for the turn to get the damage bonus.

ha thats intresting oh well my freind never got an answer about that somewhere else i got curious to thanks.
