Hello

Does anyone here go to the Build-a-Bear Workshop stores or own any Build-a-Bears in general? :)

I have 8 Build-a-Bears and 2 smallfrys :3
 
Build-a-Bear Workshop...?
I thought that store was for 6-year-old girls, TBH.
I can't see very many people here going to a store where you build your own teddy bear. Sorry.

You'd honestly be surprised. I'm not into BABW, but I understand how people would like it.

When I was about seven or eight, I went to a BABW with my parents. I can't remember exactly what I put on it, but I know I made a bear...I probably still have it.

@PF4000: Yeah, it's not just girls that get bears, but boys, women AND men that get the bears, My latest one is the Four-Clover Teddy (I named her Ursula which is Irish for "little bear")
 
I have one knockoff BaB, I sent an Owl to my boyfriend for Christmas, and I have a Panda I'm stuffing for myself..... eventually. I have a big bag of poly-fil that I need to get rid of, so I'll go and get an empty animal and stuff it by hand. I really need to work on the Panda, though; I've neglected stuffing it for several months now.....

LOL, Knockoff BaB, it must be from Beartown/Puppytown USA (A Knockoff of Build-a-Bear Workshop with a Pet Store) xD
 
I got one for this girl I was dating in HS. a bear with a soccer outfit and I made it moo (she liked funny things and lol'd a ton) . The funny thing was when I bought itIhad to "squeeze it with love" etc etc etc..even though they knew I wasn't buying it for myself XD. I was like..ok..Fine. lol
 
well i wish there was one my grandma loves dolls but no, and i heard from a freind of mine he went to a store and saw a nude doll(really i dont mean like no clothes like body parts)he complained and they said that wasnt theirs he doesnt beleive that but who knows i think he was lying shop like that should know what they have to display.
 
I've seen a few shops around where I live, and in all honesty I never got into build-a-bear, but some of the things I've seen people make with the stuff is awesome.

I've been in there once, but part of it is because I've always collected plush. The only one I have from there is the Plush Mumble from Happy Feet.
 
I use to love going in there. My friend and I may step in every now and again but we fell kinda silly doing it. I secretly want to go in there and stuff every animal! :p I like the season bears; especially the winter ones. I want my BF to stuff a duck for me sometime. ;)

I have 3 or 4 of them in my closet but I sold all of the extra clothes and bears I wasn't using on eBay this year.

Now that you mention the Season Bears, I have the Summer Hugs Bear from that set and named her Molly (named after the doll from The Big Comfy Couch)
 
I created a "Build-A-Bear" as part of a charity drive for hospital children several years ago. I may have to return to get my own, considering they have a lamb design (I love lambs ♥).
