Buying Older Packs

I wanted to buy some older ex packs from 2004-07. I planned on buying from Amazon or Ebay, but I just wanted to know if those packs are weighable, because if they are I won't buy from them.
Specifically, are older ex's, gold stars, and/or holos weighable from a loose pack?

Yes, they might be weighed, and I'm very certain that pack is fake. Five dollars is way too low for an ex booster pack.

Its about 7 dollars with shipping, which is very reasonable for the Power Keepers series (they are usually 8 dollars).
Care to explain why you think the packs are fake? All of the amazon sellers have at least 1,000 sales and more then a 94% positive rating.
Also 'they might be weighed' isn't really helping my question: "are older ex's, gold stars, and/or holos weighable from a loose pack?"

Yes

That doesn't mean, they are knowledgeable about packs.

60 buyers out of 1000 to know about what they are buying is an incredibly low subset.

They are weighable but as long as you buy from a trusted seller you should be fine.
Look for reviews and such online, I would recommend you to NOT buy from stop2shop and gaming broker(also called gethering ground).
Because they don't seem very trustworthy and they don't answer on emails.

Why so high on price? Sometime you can buy them in a retail store. I have gotten older packs once every 5 or so years when they have them in stock but it is pretty rare though.:)

Idk why, but my target/walmart area has everything arranged correctly and almost never has anything out ahead of time. They usually don't have those cards up there, but I know what you're talking about (the 3rd party packaged packs).

I have gotten re-sealed Unseen Forces booster packs. I can tell they were resealed because they had super glue holding them together. They cards were fake except for the holofoil Unown. Weird. And I knew they were fake because they had very blurry text, weird fonts and 20,000HP. And the Unown had normal fonts, nice thickness and regular foil. :S Guess the seller decided to be generous for odd reasons.

Buying old packs is tricky... and expensive, but EX Power Keepers wasn't a very popular set so... get them while you can if they're not too expensive. Most ex sets are 10-20$. And yes, stay away from stop2shop, I bought 36 packs from the once and only 3 of them were holo-foil and they were dupes. They listed it as a booster box on Amazon but it was loose packs. =_=

Gaming broker aka Gathering ground did the same thing with Skyridge except they have a "guarantee" their packs are not searched or weighed. And yet when I tried to buy a Skyridge box, they refunded me because they realized it wasn't a sealed box and knew I wasn't going to be happy about that because of the note I wrote to them when I bought it. Go figure.
