Ruling Call energy?

Call energy. It says that if it is attached to my active pokemon, I can use its effect. However-if I have say a Duskull out T1, and use call energy. The next turn, can I use it again? Basically, is call a 1 time deal, or is call continuously if you have it on your active?
 
You can use Call as many times as you want but you have to be Active.

O ok, I thought it was a one time thing. Does the same apply then for like Cyclone energy and Warp energy? Can I use those as many times as I want?
 
Nope. Those 2 cards only work when you attach them to your Active Pokemon. After that, they just provide a Colorless Energy and nothing else...

Can you explain that? And is that true with something like greatball? Cause you still have to put it on your bench right?
 
I don't think so-and even if you can its just to waste a turn. Why someone would intentionally want to waste a turn beats me but...
 
You can also use call when you are asleep confused or paralyzed,and deck searches can be fruitful sometimes even if it means wasting a card.
