Well I just got the game and I finished the storyline.
The story was good, short but still good. (The first MW's story was short too)
I haven't played online yet, but I will soon.
How do you guys like the game?
Please no rants about how these games are horrible and that we're just fanboys/girls.
1. They're not horrible
2. I've played plenty of different games and I don't really partake in the fanboy/hater war thing.
What does special Ops do? Is it just sort of like extra things to do for gamerscore/ratings/scores?
 
It's an awesome game and all; the storyline is so farfetched and unrealistic, the online play is even better then the first one. As I expected the new guns are awesome and spec ops is really fun with 2 people. Even though the blood effects are silly and how it's really sensitive, I mean jumping off a stair case doesn't make blood splash up into you're face; I guess they should of kept it like the Modwern Warfare 1 blood. 9/10
 
IMO special ops sucks, the blood is unrealistic and the guns are all the same, but it's very fun to play, especially with more people. Could've been more maps though. Eight out of ten seems to fit well.
 
Modern Warfare 1 wasn't really short. It was a decent size, and the multiplayer for it was sort of good.

Modern Warfare 2, on the other hand, *WAS* really short. The multiplayer is stupid and lame. Spec Ops was a nice addition though.

Blood splatter by jumping off a small building? Really? :/

I thought the story was great, it kept me guessing. And the multiplayer? Awesome. :D

Spec ops was also pretty fun, but there were some missions that were too similar to each other, and things got old kinda fast for me.

I gave it a nine out of 10.
 
I gave it a 4/10 because the game's cool but it has too many problems.
No hack protections and such.
My game won't load my save files for online and multiplayer :'(
So that makes it an even worse waste of money.

Do not rate this game completly on its campaign. The main reason this game was made was for epic online gameplay. I gave it a 9/10 because the campaign was the only bad part.

lol, the guns aren't all the same. I think they'll be brining out new map packs very soon, there's a rumor that they'll be bringing back the COD4 maps back. This is going to be a exciting wait, the COD4 maps were fantastic and with MW2's new guns will be great.

Yeah, all those care package glitchers and camping noobs with their heartbeat sensors really annoy me. :[

^ I hate the guns that do 3 burst, they always like take one burst then you're dead. Doesn't mean I don't use them though. ;P

On a different note, does anyone on here watch mw2 gameplay videos on Machinima Respawn? I do it on the weekdays a lot, until Friday rolls around. That's when I get to actually play my 360. :D

I don't like to put it that way :p, I just get annoyed that everyone else uses them so I do.

I'm stuck on a class to make, do you guys have any good ones that I could use?

Riot shield, akimbo rangers/1887
Perk - sleight of hand, pro.
Perk - cold blooded, pro.
perk - ninja or steady aim, both pro.


For me it works, too bad I don't have it online yet.

Steady aim is great for your rangers as it adds stability
Ninja helps against heartbeat sensor nubs, cold blooded against heat vision, and it hardens enemy air support.


On another note, my problems with the game are almost all solved, i just waited and the lock on my offline profile just disappeared.
 
Most riot shield classes use commando pro. And I don't see why you'd use sleight of hand either, since you'll mostly use your riot shield. (I mean, it is a shield class, right?)

Anyway, once you unlock your ACR, start using it at once. You can use it for practically anything. It's my most used class.

EDIT: I just remembered, I need to know a good setup for my scar-h for team deathmatch. Any ideas?
