I know this sounds weird, but I have been hearing about this "amazing" new deck that has kingdra and yanmega prime and I don't get it one bit. Can someone please enlighten me.

Mods if this is the wrong place to post this sorry, and feel free to move.

I believe you're supposed to Damage Basics with Kingdra while Sniping them off with Yanmaga, It still has the Yanmega engine, but with a Kingdra added in.

Actually it makes it so that you hit all your opponents evolved pokemon with yanmega while placing counters with king...then you devolve them using jirachi for getting multiple ko's...

It's not that hard. I used it in the seniors modified side event and got 3rd. Get the Yanmega out early, and it's easy.

Also KO there benched Pokemon before they can set up.

Its good but tough to play. I played it during nats and was down 5-2. I got down to one prize but then Linear Attack reared it ugly face -.-

If your talking about jirachi devolution bieng tough...it has a pokepower which lets it attach energies to itself from discard...flippy...but yes..it works

Ya I know the jirachi card, I just was wondering if there was like a magic combo I missed you know, something where they give eachother an enormous boost like donchamp.

Kingdra/Yanmega is a nice deck but isn't Kingdra/Mandibuzz a much cheaper alternative since Yanmega Prime is going for as much as Luxray GL Lv. X did last format when LuxChomp was at it's peak last year?

Mandi can't hit 70 for no energy. And it can't attack non-damaged Pokemon. Besides, what kind of noob didn't get a playset of Yanmegas when they were like, five dollars?

...

Oh right, I'm the one of the only ones who did at the time...Increased profit by 12 times ftw.

Kingdra/Mandibuzz isn't as good as Kingdra/Yanmega because Yanmega can attack for free with Judge and Copycat, and Judge can also disrupt your opponents hand.

I'd rather play a great deck and have to chip in video game money than play an OK deck and save money. Especially for big tournaments.

True but how are they going to afford getting Yanmega Prime when it's like $30-50 for one copy?

I already have them :p I used to play Magnezone/Yanmega at league and at BR's this spring, so I had a playset. But then i traded 2 away, and just recently traded for one while they were still 20, so I have 3 :3

And yeah, T-king is completely right. Even though the cards are more expensive, its still a better deck none the less.
