Not true, thefleece. People on Pokegym (who were there) said that there was a lot of Magneboar, it just didn't do as well as expected.

Yes I just checked and it is 40 invites but Is it true that if you have ranking at least 1830 you would get an invite?

I mean to have that rating you would be pretty secure, but there is no cut off specifically.

To clear up the topic on Magneboar there actually was tons of Magneboar in both Masters and Seniors. It just happened to be overated and Yanmega happened to be more better.

good news for my brother then (he's running samugatr for US nats...hopefully this will make magneboar not as abundant)

US meta may be differant from what i've seen on the gym. I'd tell your bro to be careful with his deck choice because there still could be magneboar.

yeah, well...we're kind of stuck with either gyaragatr or samugatr...we don't have enough of other cards to make any other deck and nobody we know will be able to lend us the cards needed. so I've been playtesting with him nonstop the past few weeks trying to make the little tweeks to make it the best possible. he auto-wins against reshiboar (95%) and wins 75% of the time against donchamp but only wins 35% of the time against magneboar :/ and 40% against ZPS. the rest are toss-ups pretty much.
