Card Abbreviations

yeah the term "babies" is pretty self-explanatory, because it's just the baby pokemon. and even then I almost always hear people just say "cleffa," "pichu," "tyrogue," etc.

as far as "dragons" goes, in case you haven't noticed, reshiram and zekrom aren't the only dragons in the game...so if you start labeling "dragons" then you'd include a list as with the babies, at which time it would just be handled the same way, with everyone referring to them each individually.

If you were to say just "You need to run both dragons in this deck." Ive used this twice in th past few days and it means just reshiram and zekrom not all dragon types.

Ttar- Tyranitar
Badboar- Emboar 19
Promopig- BW07 Tepig.

I'll also add decks if you want.

Bump???

Or can I not bump after two weeks, either?

I think this should be stickied...there's been a couple times I've looking for this thread for an abbreviation

CoL Cyndaquil = Donkaquil... it's easy to donk/snipe it.... i would never consider using it even in loldeck.
Spinlosion = The non-prime typhlosion :p

cleffa isnt an abbreviation.
its the full name of the card. i dont think it belongs on the list as its self explanitory

Those aren't real Abbreviarions.

Yeah, Cleffa's not an abbreviation...

Also (looking at Zhaituki and glaceon here), Badboar, Promopig, Donkaquil, and Spinlosion aren't abbreviations. They're just nicknames. Abbreviations abbreviate. Those names are no shorter than the original names of the cards.

Bumping is only allowed in the Trading Corner. Anywhere else is spam.

This thread won't be stickyed.

ZPST = Zekrom/Pachirisu/Shaymin/Tornadus (deck)
TZPS = Tornadus/Zekrom/Pachirisu/Shaymin (deck)

The difference is that ZPST centers around Zekrom more and TZPS centers around Tornadus.
