Hi all, please go ahead and chastise me if this is in the wrong place or inappropriate! I own a small business called Hello Toys. We sell new items but we also buy pre-loved toys. On a recent purchase, we acquired a bundle of Pokemon cards. Now, I know simply nothing about Pokemon cards! Thus, I was hoping you kind folk could give me a little help or info with some details of what they are. No probs if not and I'm guessing they're run of the mill, just thought the best place to try would be here! Cheers all :)

Well I'm pretty sure the first picture is a bunch of fake cards. Don't think there is much value to them.

The second and third pictures are collectible trading cards from at least two different sets I think. Hopefully someone else can tell you more about them as I never collected these and don't know how much they might be worth.

The fourth picture are genuine cards so far as I can tell but from what I can see the rarest card there is that Victrreebel and I don't know how much that's really worth these days. In this one it would be easier if we knew every card that was there instead of just the top eight.

Thanks for the reply it's much appreciated! I guessed the holograms were fake, as for the names I've looked through the decks and this is what I have (again chastise me if this is too long etc)

Hey, hope I can shed some light on it for you.

The first picture is absolutely fake cards - worthless - might as well toss 'em

The second and third picture are cards produced by Topps around 1999 I want to say. They don't have much value, I have about 1000 of them I probably couldn't give away. They were made around the time of the first movie and never really got any traction.

The fourth picture look to be genuine original cards made by Wizards of the Coast around the late nineties early 2000s. Not sure if there's anything rare or valuable there - but even about 100 regular common cards will fetch you $10 or so nowadays. On the cards in that photo look in the lower right corner for a star, those indicate they're rarer cards and may be worth a quick eBay search for a ballpark of value.
