This is gonna sound dumb... but is there a way to either "suggest" cards to PCL to make, or even "suggest" whole decks? Do you have to be in the company?

RE: Card "Suggestions"

I don't think you can unless Pokemon's site has a suggestion box but I have not seen a place where you can suggest any card creations.:)

RE: Card "Suggestions"

This would be awesome. PTCG needs to listen to some of us fakers, or at the very least, have CaC competitions themselves!

RE: Card "Suggestions"

PCL is in charge, not Nintendo.

There's no way to submit a card suggestion afaik, and if there was a way they would likely be spam by crap ideas so no way

RE: Card "Suggestions"

Exactly what would people suggest? Which Pokemon to make into full arts? There's hundred's of Pokemon I want to see made into full arts, I don't care what they do because I'm a collector. Technically they already have everyone's suggestions since there are like over 600 Pokemon to chose from. They already have my 600+ suggestions.

A vote would be cool though, like they make a list of Pokemon on their website and you vote and the winner gets made.

RE: Card "Suggestions"

Or a vote to determine which M. EX Pokemon to have in the set after Emerald Break or something like that.

How about a vote for dual type Pokemon on which type should be made. Say for instance they want to put a Garchomp line in the next set. They could hold a vote to see if people want a dragon line or get the first fighting (ground) line for it.

RE: Card "Suggestions"

The voting idea would certainly make it more appealing to fans, cause they will get what they want. Disadvantages would be the lack of surprise, which may be something PCL has in mind. IDK

RE: Card "Suggestions"

I think that would take out the fun. A lot of fans don't understand the balancing aspect of the game. It would get really tedious for them to go through all the ideas, and maybe for every 200 they have 1 good idea. I am not knocking the fakers here. It is just that people who don't really understand how card games are made are allowed to submit too.
