When I looked at the Coro Coro scans with black city and white forest I noticed something. I saw that white forest has patches of grass that look like what you would catch pokemon in and so far i don't remember being able to catch wild pokemon in cities so how do you think ( if you will be able to) wild pokemon will be caught in black city?

or there could be some abandoned house, or a technology lab, and find electric or other pokemon.

thats a good point, but like dwarfstar said, its probably gonna be like a pokémon mansion/ power plant kind of thing where you can encounter things indoors.

or maybe u pick pocket people in the city. XD jk but that would be funny

On subject: i think that they may be in a mansion as previously stated

Abandoned buildings/warehouses, labratorys, power plants, imo in black city the bulk of the Pokemon you will be finding there will be electric/dark/ect, and in white forest they will be normal/grass/water/ect. Again the nature vs. manmade concept. I'm just a little confused about why black city is in black and white forest in white. I mean it would sound like it makes sense but since you find Reshiram in black and visa versa where will you find Reshiram? In black city? Meh. Am I missing something?

I like the idea, if it happens more "kudos" points for Black&White.
So far I haven't found something negative to say about the games. :)

The nature vs manmade concept has a 2nd part, involving Reshiram and Zekrom to have their powers being the dominant power. So i.e Reshiram goes to black city to destroy it and make it natural, and Zekrom wants to go to white forest to destroy it and make it manmade.

That's what I was thinking. I hope the storyline of the game will be as interesting as it sounds!

They would not be in building because if in the other version there are Pokemon outside the building then the Pokemon ill be outside the buildings in the city sort of version.

And why is that? So they can be paralleled in convenience? GF clearly doesn't care about that.

There were Pokemon in Petalburg City that you could catch, so you'll probably be able to find wild Pokemon in the grass of White Forest and on random tiles of Black City (like the Power Plant of Kanto).

Perhaps Black City will be abandoned when Reshiram appears and you'll have random battles all over the city?

I think it would be interesting to bump into a Rattata or Mamepato in the city and be able to battle them. Make pokemon encounters less common, but still possible.

On thing that I have always wanted but never happened is seeing the pokemon u run into. Example: U see a rattata and it runs into u. *The Battle Begins*

It would be a perfect time to do so. But based what we've seen it probably won't happen.

thats a good idea. it might happen! cuz you kno the video where the player character was walking thru hiun city and the people had to go someplace! i think you catch my drift. if u dont then what if there are over world pokemon around the city and you can go touch one if you want it or it might go to you!

Tbh, I really like that idea. It'd be really cool to give Pokemon more of that "real world" feel, because, at least where I live, you don't typically see a rat/rabbit/squirrel every five steps you take.

I think in both versions Pokemon should pop up randomly. It only makes sense to have both games like that. Maybe White Forest will have Pokemon randomly attack you like they do in Ilex Forest???
