Celebi Prime Lock?

LuxChomp and SP's all started out as theorymon, TorterraTank a few years back, theorymon. To say theorymon almost never works is a horrible statement. The best statement is "Theorymon, the deadly disease in which you either crush the meta or fail miserably."

And I've been playtesting it against any and every deck, So far I've only found one that crushes it to oblivion, but thats a complete and other rogue deck. The ZPS match up is pretty much 50/50 so far. I'll just wait to show off my deck.

Then in that case, everything started as theorymon. I'm talking legit theorymons, that ARE theories and not backed by solid experimental data. If you're willing to bet that your strat is NOT theorymon, then you need to show your deck off to other people and have it tested by more than one person. As long as an idea stays with one person, it's theorymon, no matter how good it is.

And really, a rogue deck crushes your deck into oblivion but not any other meta deck? (Not counting the 50/50 ZPS). Please state that rogue deck if you can and that sounds awfully suspicious...and weird. Usually the reason meta decks are better than rogue decks is that they can do the same thing and more, so the fact that a rogue deck can beat your deck but not meta decks is very strange.

xD Everything started as a "Hmmm maybe this will work." There are no such things as legit theorymons. It's all just playtesting :p. I still think LuxChomp has no synergy...seriously how do you put those 2 together and get the most destructive annoying deck of all time?!

Why does a rogue crush it? well that because the rogue was designed as a counter. Look at sablelock (won states in 2010 by silvestro)...so what happens once almost everyone starts playing sablelock? Silvestro plays T-Tar/Machamp, a deck designed to counter it. How does it counter, well high hp, something most SP's had a hard time dealing with plus Machamp. And am I the only one thats playtested my deck, no. It was a joint collaboration between me and a few others. Sablelock was rogue and crushed all meta at that time also. It went from rogue to meta almost instantly.

Well, good luck with your idea then! Leak it out whenever you want, and I can help you critique it. Can you please name the rogue counter as well, so I can help you deal with it in some way? Maybe start another thread...

TTarChamp wasn't just a counter solely to Sablock, mind you, Machamp counters practically every SP deck out there.

Celebi Prime seems like an awesome Tech in a MewBox deck. Considering you run Jumpluff in Mewbox, you're either running grass or Rainbow energies, so It works nicely.

If you could somehow make it work, Celebi Prime + Archeops + Pokemon Catcher.

Though Archeops is tough to get out, you can lock all of the evolutions, Celebi can protect against existing ones, and Pokemon Catcher can let you draw out those pokemon from the bench.

Only problem is that opposing Catcher allows revenge kill, so you'll be forced to deal with the current evos for the most part.
