we are probably all aware that for our next English set HS:Triumphant, the Pre-Release Sleeves feature Celebi and I seriously think that the Celebi event is coming sooner than we all think! Do you think that the Celebi event is coming to the US soon? What is your thoughts on this matter? Please tell me your speculations and opinions! Please Reply and tell me what you think!

i don't know how they are going to be used, but the Celebi Sleeves have to mean something! pertaining to Celebi, besides Celebi Prime.

They mean Celebi's in the set. I don't think it coordinates with any download (although the Rotom one from RR did):

TR: Celebi: 1, maybe 2 versions of Celebi in the set
UD: Espeon/Umbreon: 2 versions of each
UL: Entei/Suicune/Raikou: 3 Legends
GS: Ho-oh/Lugia: Legend
AR: Arceus: 9 Arceus' + 3 Level X's
SV: Garchomp: 1 Garchomp, Garchomp C + Lv. X
RR: Rotom: 5 Rotoms (Secret Rares)
PT: Giratina: 3 versions + Level X

for the Arceus set last year, there were Arceus sleeves. there were a lot of Arceus cards because the set was based on Arceus, however, we did get the Arceus event in that same month in fact, the Arceus event started just days after the set was released. the only Celebi card there is in the HGSS set is Celebi Prime. there are 8 Primes in the set and they decided to choose Celebi. which means Celebi will be focused on for this set which has got to mean something else about Celebi!

yes i agree i think there will be a Celebi event next month to tie in with Triumphant.

sometimes i think that the Celebi event won't happen until next year before BW come out but then i think back to the Celebi sleeves!!! they have got to mean something!!! also does anyone also notice that every time a TCG set is released, there is a event going on. i noticed that for a few months now.

it has to mean that the Celebi event will happen in the US by the end of 2010!

Is the Celebi you get in HGSS that unlocks the Giovanni event the same Celebi that you trade for Zorua? If they are different the we'll probably be getting the Giovanni one first, possibly next month to coincide with the release of Triumphant.

i thought there was only one Celebi that unlocks both events. the same Celebi that unlocks the Giovanni story is also the same one that allows you to get Zorua in BW.

yeah there is only one Celebi event and it unlocks both events in HGSS and BW.

and i also think we are getting the celebi event next month because celebi prime is in triumphant and they usually do the events and release the cards and the movie all around the same time so they will tie in with each other.

yeah like Arceus. they did the Arceus event, Arceus tcg set, and aired Arceus and the jewel of life all in the same month.

they also did that with the shaymin event in february 2009.

darkrai event happened 3 months after the movie aired but however, the event did tie in with its DVD release.

yes, lets just hope we don't have wait til the Zoroark DVD in the US for the celebi event.

Arceus and the jewel of life hasn't been released on DVD yet. Zoroark movie han't even aired here in the US yet so we can't even say about the DVD.
