when celebi is distributed, it should be available for all those 5 games.

they usually release cards around the time that the movie airs and the event happens for that respective Pokemon, in japan, celebi Prime was put in their clash at the summit set to tie in with the movie 13 and the celebi event. so it would only make sense that they would have the celebi event and the premiere of movie 13 on cartoon network next month to tie in with the release of triumphant since celebi is in the set.

^Um, no. Machamp and Gengar are the most anticipated, and Mew will see play as well. Celebi will only be seen in collector's binders.

when i said celebi was the most anticipated pokemon i meant in general as a pokemon. celebi is most anticipated now because celebi has not had its event yet making it still unobtainable in the non-japanese versions.

its funny they are promoting celebi for triumphant and it hasnt even had its event since they are pormoting it this most likely means there will be a celebi event next month or before the end of the year!

I wouldn't be surprised if our next WiFi event is Celebi.

Think about it: Mew is only being offered for 16 days whereas most other WiFi event Pokemon were given out for 20 - 30 days, and since Mew finishes October 30 and Triumphant comes out November 3, it seems fitting for TPCi to give out Celebi next.

As a side note, I wonder why they haven't revealed the pre-release promo card yet...

i agree with you, with the celebi sleeves, and celebi prime in triumphant, there olviously promoting celebi for triumphant and TPCi has never promoted pokemon without having an event for them if they didn't already have an event.

i also think besides the 10th anniersary of gold and silver, the mew event was to also tie in withtriumphant since mew prime is also in the set.
or it could have been the other way around mew was put in triumphant because they knew they were going to have the mew event this month, but yeah celebi should be coming next month.

I agree with you both. TPCi is promoting Celebi, a Pokemon which in the Video Games, is not available through normal gameplay. It would'nt make sense to promote a Pokemon very rare like Celebi, in the TCG and not have an event for the Video Games to get that Pokemon.

An event at TRU would good for their sales of Triumphant. If they had Triumphant product on the shelf, while the event was happening.

@omahanime i agree a Celebi event would help their sales for HS:Triumphant. Let's just hope we all can complete our Pokedex by year's end!

i think that celebi prime, and the other celebi in triumphant will get played more if the celebi event was next month.
