Hello, I am a new member seeking advice on some of my decks. I started playing Pokemon TCG 3 months ago and I would like the recommendations of experts. Out of my collection, from Boundaries Crossed onwards, I manage to create 5 decks (had to buy a trainer card lot though) and the first one is this:

Pokemon:

  • Chandelure EX x1
    Pumpkaboo x3
    Gourgeist x3
    Espurr x2
    Meowstic x2
    Mewtwo EX x3
    Meloetta BCR x2
    Mr. Mime (Plasma Freeze) x1
Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums:

  • Sycamore x1
    Tierno x2
    Colress x1
    Hypnotoxic laser x3
    Evosoda x2
    Ultra Ball x1
    Shauna x2
    Frozen City x1
    Professors Letter x2
    Startling Megaphone x1
    Energy Retrieval x1
    Rocky Helmet x1
    Pokemon Center Lady x1
    Life Dew x1
    Escape Rope x1
    Pokemon Fan Club x1
    Lysandre x1
    Switch x1
    Superior Energy Retrieval x1
    Great Ball x1
    Skyla x1
    Red Card x1
Energy:

  • Psychic Energy x13
    Double Colorless x2

Strategy:

I initially thought of this deck as trading prize cards with my opponent by using my Gourgeist as a suicide bomber, by knocking out the opponents EX pokemon. Since I had Espurr's and Meowstic's in the deck it took shape and I started doing somewhat good. The trainer cards are there to help place more damage counters like Frozen City, as my Gourgeist will mostly use Spirit Scream anyways. I tend to go for the most important pokemon on my opponents side of the field. The only drawback is if they have 1 or 2 pokemon on their bench, then I can't place more counters with Gourgeist. Chandelure and Mewtwo are there for power, no real reason.

I would like to receive tips if these deck in theory works for tournaments and if so, what can I do to make it stronger. Thank you.

RE: Advice on different decks

Dusknoir with Sinister Hand could be a good alternate option instead of Meowstic because it lets you move damage counters around without having to use an attack.
Needs more Sycamore (3-4)
May want more Skyla (2-3)
Consider using N (3-4)
Replace Great Ball with Ultra Ball.
Replace Life Dew with a better Ace Spec (usually Computer Search or Dowsing Machine)
Why Frozen City?

I thought of Dusknoir but it seemes I would have less basics and more evolutions. For Sycamore and Skyla what should I replace? Life Dew was there initially to use it with Gourgeist. Frozen City was there just to place more counters, as I can move them later on. I do not need much energy to do my attacks either way except for Mewtwo. Is N still playable in the current format?

EDIT: (Replaced Great ball with Ultra) I took out the 2 tiernos, red card and frozen city. placed 2 more sycamore's, an N, and a Skyla for now. I did not know N was still legal and I will try this out. Thank you, even though these seemed like obvious changes to many players, I greatly appreciate your time to help me out.
