strategy is quickly taking vileplum and chadelure, vanillux is to take 3 times cursed shadow and can attack with the last.

I note comments and help, thanks.

I'd cut either the pichu or the cleffa because both are not needed. I vanilluxe is going to be your main switcher, then Id cut the dodrio. Im not sure about the strategy with vanilluxe. Is it legal to switch 2 times in a turn? Sorry but I just want to make sure. Id max out collector for more consistency, cut some psychic and rescue energy, and add 2 tropical beach.

@Jirachi, he's referring to the Vanilluxe from ND that has the ability. So, start with 1 chandy, drop 3 damage counters, retreat, drop 3 more, use ability and drop another 3.

Although it sounds like a good idea, it's going to be very slow. Especially with Vileplume. You've also got to think about bench space. You already have 3 spots filled with Vileplume, Dodrio and Vanilluxe. The perfect set up with this deck would be to have one active chandelure and two on the bench, other three spots are Vileplume, Dodrio and Vanilluxe. So what do you plan on doing with Cleffa and Pichu? Let them be free prizes?

The trick to this deck is getting three Chandalure, a Vanilluxe, a Dodrio and Vileplume out all at once. You use one Chandalure ability, retreat to another with the free retreat from Dodrio and use the second ability, then use slippery soles to switch to the third Chandalure that has energy attached, you've done 90 damage just in ability, plus you get to attack, which does an extra 50, burn and confuse the active. My friend Noah uses this deck and it's, it's scary, but a tad slow.

I am well aware of that, Vaibe. I was asking if it was possible to switch twice in one turn, as you pointed out. This deck will have a lot of problems with setting up, and 130 hp will also be a problem. It will be almost impossible to set up all those stage 2s in time, but once you do, it will be pretty good.

-1 pichu
-1 clefa
- 1-1 Dodrio
- 1 Psychic Energy
- 1 Rescue Energy

+1 collector
+??

where I live we do not have much access to buy tropical beach (high price)

Believe me, If you can't kill Vileplume, this deck win most likely win, it can knock anything out in one turn (with EX's you need to rely on them getting tails on the burn/confuse flips. Steelix can survive two hits, which is the main problem against this deck.)

If you take out your Dodrio, you wouldn't be able to drop 3 damage counters (unless you actually payed the retreat cost, but with 8 energies I don't see that happening to often) which I think defeats the purpose of this deck, correct? If you were to drop dodrio, why not just leave it in and drop Vanilluxe?

Yes, but 130 hp is not that high as it was before ND came out, and now many EXs and some others can easily OHKO it. I agree that it will be amazing once set up, but setting up is the problem since it will take a long time. 1-1-1 vanilluxe is not that reliable. Even after setting up 130 hp will be a problem, with all the high attack basics running around.

If you drop Vanilluxe, then that's worse because Vanilluxe switches their active too.

So I think that 1-1-1 line should be like 2-2-2 or something because 1-1-1 is inconsistent in my opinion.

All chandelure decks have tropical beach, well at least all of them that I know. You want to setup as fast as possible, since its stage 2, so thats where it will come handy.

I would definitely thicken the Vanilluxe line with your 2 extra spaces. If you set up Vileplume before Vanilluxe, and your Vanillite is Prized then you wont be able to get as high of a damage output. I think you might have a few too many energies also. Might take out 1/2 for Tropical Beaches (if you can afford them) or more draw support.
