This is my first ever report on here so bare with me lol.
So the 2010-2011 season I played my first competitive pokemon event ever. A city championship in Akron. I went 2-4 using Dialgachomp. That was the only event I was able to play in, but the 2011-2012 season will be my first full season of pokemon.
I am not sure what deck I want to play. I had Kingdra/Yanmega built but I talked to NakiFeraklin and he convinced me not to play so about Thursday of last week I posted on ********** asking what deck would be the best deck for an unknown meta. Since I don't go to league there I don't know what decks are played. Pretty much everyone said Reshiphlosion since I am relatively new still and it is easy to play. Luckily I had ordered a 4th Typhlosion prime earlier in the week so I was able to play this deck.
So I wake up Sunday shower, get dressed, and eat. I get to the event around 11:10. I had my decklist all filled out from the night before. So i get deck checked and I am good to go. I was thinking about taking a plus power out for a black belt but decided not to.

Masters Division
Deck: Reshiphlosion
Attendance: 15-but 4 more came late so 19-but top 2 instead of top 4
Round 1: Cynthia H.- She played Zekrom with Thunderus
I get out 2 Typhlosions, 2 Reshirams, and 1 Ninetales out pretty quick and all she has is Thunderus and Pachirisu. Shes does 80 damage to my active Reshiram and I was able to outrage and knockout here thunderus. She sent up pachirisu and revived her thunderus, and here she misplayed she could have knocked out my active Reshiram with 80 damage but instead she catchers for a Typhlosion and does 50 to him with pachirisu. I retreat Typhlosion and knock out her pachirisu the next turn with Reshiram, and ko her thunderus 2 more times as she played another revive on it. I end up winning 4-0 on prizes because she can't draw another pokemon.
1-0
Round 2: Stephen M.-Gothitelle/Reuniclus NakiFeraklin
I know this guy and actually talk to him online. He has helped me with my decks in the past. He has a pretty good build and has done well with the deck. I get set up pretty quickly, but I don't draw energies for awhile so I can't do anything. He was pretty much in control and ko'ed some of his own pokemon to keep it close in prizes as he didn't know if i played black belt. I Outrage Ko his Reuniclus using 2 plus powers with my Reshiram to make it me at 2 prizes and him at 1. I don't see he has 3 energy on his benched Gothitelle, and I was ready to ko it next turn as I had 4 energy and 5 Damage on my Reshiram, but he sends up Gothitelle and ko's my Reshiram for the game.
1-1
Round 3: David Cook-Gothitelle/Reuniclus
I get 2 Typhlosions, 2 Reshiram and a Ninetales set up quickly and ko his benched solosis. His other 2 were prized so he wasn't able to set up a Reuniclus to control the damage He isn't able to do much, but he ko's one of my Reshiram. But since he doesn't have any goths set up I can play trainers and there isn't much he can do. I won 5-1 on prizes he scooped when i took my 5th prize.
2-1
Round 4: ???-Forgot his name-Cobalion/Klinklang
I have a huge type advantage obviously he only starts with a klank and cobalion. I start with a lone cyndaquil, but I collector for a Reshiram, Cyndaquil, and Cleffa. I send put cleffa to eek because I have a bad hand. But I set up a Typhlosion by turn 3 and I am able to ko his Klank with Reshiram and I ko his Cobalion with Reshiram the next turn winning because he has no more basics. Once he saw I had a fire deck he pretty much scooped.
3-1
So I thought I may top because the guy I lost to was 4-0, but my resistance was bad so I finish 4th and since 4 people showed up late we had top 2 instead of top 4. So I was kind of annoyed, but oh well this is my second ever competitive tournament in pokemon so I thought I did pretty well.
Props:
Going 3-1 and taking 4th at my second Pokemon tournament ever
Being able to play in the tournament
Meeting Naki
Not sure what else it was a pretty good day in all
Slops:
No top 4
Taking 4th because I had bad resistance and not getting a Victory Cup
No Championship points yet
