Ruling Charizard (Base) > Charizard (SF) ?

Yes, you can.

Although, you will simply need a Card-Dex Translation.

Hope I helped! ;]

^^Why would it not be needed? The Base Set Charizard has a Poke-Body not a Poke-Power.

The 2 Charizard cards are pretty much the same except for the Pokebody/Pokepower. I hope we can use all past cards because there was some pretty good cards made and it would be pointless not to use the past cards from Wizards of the Coast.:)

As far as I know, you will need a REFERENCE. greenbeetless, if you play a Base Set Charizard against me and you do not present me either a card-dex or a SF Charizard as reference, I will have you disqualified for playing illegal cards. Those are the rules, you can tell me all you want.

The DQ rhetoric is a bit much.

The penalty for not having a reference is a Warning. However, you will be asked to replace the card with a basic Energy, since it is illegal unless you have the reference.
