Is charizard considered rouge? I play it and it is a VERY good deck, but I never hear anyone talk about it...

Thoughts on this?

It's not rogue. Underplayed is the right term. Also, come next format, many people predict it to become one of the most popular decks. It's not talked about right now just because, well, it's not that good right now. But, in short, Charizard=/=Rogue.

I think Charizard is a great deck and will be an even better deck in the MD on format.
I played Charizard at a regionals side event and won 130 dollars.:)

Thats what I was thinking. I just wonder why its so underplayed? Its better than some of the other overplayed Meta decks...

Yeah, Charizard is rouge. Well, the shiny one is black tho.

I see what you did tharr...
Oh funny funny.

But no, I would NOT consider charizard R-o-g-u-e because when you say you're running a charizard deck, people will know (most likely) your skeleton list.

It's kind of a loose, but my personal, definition of rogue. If I say the name of my deck and someone can guess my skeleton list pretty accurately, then it's not rogue.

I'd say if people are talking about it on the interwebs, it's probably not rouge.

Rouge is the deck played by the kid that shows up at your league, and takes first with 'RYPHERIOR OUT OF HOLY NOWHERE!!1one!!'

That's rouge.

Rogue is a deck that is not in the meta, but has a fair chance versus the meta. Charizard AA is not one of those decks, since it loses mostly vs. Gyarados and LuxChomp, two main meta decks. It does however stand a chance (though not a big one) versus Jumpluff, so if your meta contains a lot of Jumpluff, then it could be good there. Until then, it's just an average deck.
Charizard G is a horrible card imho, but if you're able to get a good build for it, then it could become rogue.
