Pikachu, Infernape and Torterra are givens. So i'm not sure in the league if they are allowed 4 or 6. If not, I don't think Charizard will come back. However... What if squirtle came back as a blastoise? And Primeape came back? <3

Personally, I think Ash's Buizel should evolve to Floatzel, then beat Paul's Magmortar. Plus, Buizel is kinda outclassed when you compare it to Staraptor, Infernape, and Torterra, and of course Pikachu is Pikachu, the only electric type in the world apparently who can take on a type that should be strong or even immune to electric. The only reason I don't count Gible is because Ash just got him, but even Gible going to Gabite isn't out of the question IMO.
Personally, I think it'd be better to see Charizard come back, then have him go against Paul's Torterra, hence removing one of the weaknesses that Ash's Infernape will have going against him.

And IMO Buizel evolving wouldnt be all that bad. It would be nice to see has with a "strong" water type pokemon.
infernape is probadly in ash and pauls battle most likely to show how good infernape really is.
Ursula hasn't and won't show up for ages, so that's not an issue. Barry's Staraptor has been replaced by Skarmory for the very purpose of not confusing the viewers too.

Pikachu will never evolve, and he shouldn't. I like Pikachu and having it evolve just wouldn't be the same.... he wouldn't be able to ride on Ash's shoulder as a Raichu!!! That would be terrible!

Dude Ash's Pikachu WILL NOT evolve. I mean, Pikachu's like the Logo for Pokemon worldwide. I honestly do not want to see Raichu on Ash's shoulder, head or anywhere else for that matter. I also do not want to see Raichu replacing Pikachu as Pokemon's mascot or symbol.
