Chomptaria (Sand Fighter)- Tier 2

Hey everyone, PMysterious here. I thought for my first post on this site, I would show a deck that I've had since the Dragons Exalted Pre-Release in Arkansas. I happened to get all of the pieces for the deck in 1 day. Well, here it is.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pokemon- 18 (All of them are from Dragons Exalted)
3x Garchomp {DRG} (Sand Tomb)
3x Gabite {DRG} (Dragon Call)
4x Gible {DRG} (Sand Attack)
3x Altaria {DRG}
3x Swablu {C}
2x Emolga {L}
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Trainers- 30
4x Professor Juniper
4x N
3x Cheren
3x Bianca
2x Rare Candy
4x Level Ball
2x Super Rod
2x Random Receiver
2x Rescue Scarf
4x Pokemon Catcher
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Energy- 12
2x Blend {W}{L}{F}{M}
5x {W}
5x {F}
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Strategy: Just set up at least 2 Altaria and 1 Garchomp with 3 energy including 1 {W} and 1 {F} and you're set to do massive damage.

Why is this a Tier 2 Variant?: It is a Tier 2 Variant because I don't have to Dragonblade Garchomp. Instead, I'm using the one with Sand Tomb which is still playable and almost as deadly as the good Garchomp.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, that's the deck. I hope you liked it. If you have any suggestions other than saying to get the better Garchomp, just ask. No need to be shy. This is PMysterious signing off. :cool:

You still need 4 Garchomp for consistency and speed and 3 candies for the same reason. Cut the Rescue Scarfs as 2 Super rods will get back everything you need.

Nice deck :D. here are the changes I would make though:

-1 water energy
+1 rare candy

the reason I would add in another rare candy is to boost consistency

Could you perhaps explain why you prefer the Sand Tomb Garchomp over Dragonblade?

Gotcha. In that case:
-1 {F}
-1 {W}
+2 Blend

Just so you're more likely to have the energy you need. Unless Hammertime is popular in your area of something.

-1 Bianca: You're good with Supporters.
+1 Rare Candy: You're going to want that T2 Chomp.

You have quite allot of draw supporters. And you're dry on a few other resources.

-2 Random Receiver
-3 Bianca
-1 Rescue Scarf
-1 Water Energy (Change into fighting)

+1 Rare Candy
+1 Garchomp
+2 Switch
+2 Pokemon Communication (You don't have anything other then Gabite that searches out Garchomp)
+1 Fighting Energy (Sand Attack Gible uses fighting energy, and you should have enough time to find the water energy to use Sand Tomb)

Hope I could help you out

And welcome to the beach :)
