There are many people who have contrasting views on the matter of cloning. What do you think? Here's my opinion.

Fors-
-Allows players to freely share Pokemon.
-Allows players to keep another copy of a Pokemon they wish to train.
-You're only creating a duplicate of a legit Pokemon, no stats are being changed.
-Lets players feel more obliged to trade.

Cons
-Using a cheat code to get it cloned is just as bad as hacking it.
-It no longer becomes unique.
-It becomes difficult to distinguish clones instantly.
-Threatens game save file.

Personally, I have no objections to cloning and use it all the time. What about you?

I don't think cloning with an action replay is a good thing. I think that cloning with glitches is fine, but that's my opinion.

I don't have a problem with AR or GTS cloning, as well as casual or competitive. It's part of the game, and should be taken advantage of. It's a perfectly legitimate procedure, and an extremely useful one as well.

All I use cloning for is on my Emerald so that I can get x999 Rare Candy/Master balls/TMs and level my competitive teams on HG.

I don't think it's cheating because it takes so blimmin' long. I mean seriously. Ten hours to duplicate and migrate enough Rare Candies to level six pokemon from level ~40 to level 100.

I don't consider as a serious problem. Think about it, it doesn't really matter for battling, because you can't have two of the same pokemon on a team. When trading, sure it becomes less valuable, but when it come to stats who cares if it isn't unique and rare legionaries means more people can get the thing.

I have never cloned before but I think its a good idea....for instance, lets say you have the lvl 100 Arceus and some guy has a shiny you want but dont want to trade ur event...just make a clone and trade that:D...but idk if they ruin game fike though.

How can people even tell if a Pokemon is cloned or not?

They can't :>

Who cares about cloning, seriously? Cloning won't damage your game any more than proper AR usage will (read as: not at all), and cloning is manlier because there's no way you can tell if what you're fighting against (or fighting with!!) is a clone.

Anyone who is against cloning is just paranoid of their game becoming corrupted. Do you guys think that clones have some hidden flag that gets turned on that says "I'M A CLONE LOL, ALERT ALERT ALERT"

Don't be ridiculous. And besides, if clones had an extra flag turned on that made them different, they wouldn't be clones, now would they??
