So we know that all EP packs (and possibly future sets) all come with TCGO code cards.

When it comes to booster drafts though, do the code cards have to be handled a certain way or is it TO/HJ's discretion?

I've never heard any special rules about them. I'd imagine its up to the TO. If you are doing it where you take 1 card and pass the rest of the pack, I would say the person who opened the pack should get the Code Card and then one card of their choice.~Mark

The way it was done yesterday was my TO counted the code card just like any other card. Consequently, they were among the last ones taken.

Virtual card does not count as a normal card in my eyes. You aren't getting any physical product. All you are getting is a code to unlock a pack online.

...hence why I thought it was TO's discretion; everyone views the codecards differently.
...I think that's all the discussion we can draw from this topic.

code cards should not be considered a part of the cards you pass along.
since everyone gets 5 packs in a booster draft, they must also get 5 code cards since the cards coincide with the packs.

each person who opens the packs takes a code card along with a card of thier choice, then it gets passed along.
