It's been awhile since I've posted ANYTHING here.
Last Saturday, I watched Lucario and the Mystery of Mew for the first time (I'm a sad sad person :( lol) and it gave me the inspiration to create this:

Cognerus [Cog-nair-us] (Latin for: Blood Master, or Lord of Blood)
Grass/Psychic
Beginning Blood Pokemon
Ht. 4' 5" Wt. 120 Lbs.

Known in legends as the "Embodyment" of the Tree of Beginning, sibling to Mew.
It has the power to summon the Tree's White Blood Cells for protection. New legends, recently excavated, seem to state that Cognerus has an ancient rivalry with Darkrai. The two seem to have fought many battles (directly+inderectly) against each other.
[Auther's note: This could explain the cause of the historic battle in the movie, maybe...]

Trait: Immune Response [When Cognerus' HP falls below 1/2 and 1/4, a White Blood Cell is summoned in place of Cognerus.]

White Blood Cells:
Each summoned White Blood Cell has 50HP, and the same stats as Cognerus. However, they can't switch out. The only attack they can use is Struggle. This subtracts from the 'Cell's Hp, not Cognerus'.

Notes: The 'Cell sprite is randomly chosen from the appropriate pool. I've made each 'Cell resemble a fossil pokemon, as they did in the movie: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, and vice versa. This pokemon is uber/broken for a reason; the Tree of Begining never did die, did it?

If ANYONE wants to use Cognerus, please simply ask and give me credit. I'd love for it to be in a game/text RPG. Feel free to leave comments and critism

Purdy cool...and welcome back! I like the pure creativity of this pokemon, doesn't look like a rip off at all...:D GJ!

The thing on his head seems like an indent though, kind of weird, and a few things (like the tail (I think) are hard to interpret at a glance.

But, nice balance, color choice, name, ect. (basically everything I didn't mention as a problem :p). I love the way you used Shiftry's fans.

And always an inspiration (I waited to post this until after mine was done :p, which I will be showing...), ALWAYS an inspiration. I'll have mine up shortly :D, this time I used paint, because my other progam couldn't deal with the pixels :(.

I think I just might "migrate" PWNzilla over here. Then I'll have to do some work on its moveset and story/dex entry (I guess I should call this the "summary"), but not untill I finish the White Blood Cell recolors (not too many left) and MAYBE a shiny version of Cognerus. (should I do them for the cells to?)
Here's PWNzilla:
Alrighty, so in my spare time I've come up with a little sprite project for myself. I'll be making the mixed sprite for PWNzilla (charizard, rayquaza, and tyranitar) in at least 3 versions; RS, EM, and DP. This includes the backsprites.
Depending on if I have time, I might also do; EM animation, DP animation, an overworld, a Pokesho version, and maybe even a Pokedex entry.
Thanks for looking, and feel free to drop some C&C.

Shiny cells...do the shiny Cognerus first and then decide.  You prolly don't want to...I mean they are only one color anyway.  You could make them whiter though.  Also are you going to do Cradily's line, Armaldo's line, and Aerodactyl? (You have to do Aerodactyl...coolest fossil ever, mabye with the exception of Kabutops...)

And for PWNzilla, the DP sprite is my fav. but I don't think you'll need to do all the RS and FRLG sprites for everything...just because they are kind of outdated now...

Anyways I'll be working on mine now...so much to do...

I agree with you SZ, plus it'd be a pain in the butt to recolor all of those sprites again. I just need to think of what colors the cognerus* should be.

P.S. I think the Armoldo 'Cell is the coolest looking, out of all of them.

Funny thing is you used both the sprites from the 2 pokemon AREN'T my favorite, lol. Wings down and ginsu scythes FTW!!

Also...unless this was purposeful you forgot to recolor Aerodactyl's mouth..it's still pink.

BTW They all look like carmel...mmm carmal pokes, I want to take them off the screen and eat them... *licking the computer screen* :p

I'm about 75% ready to update mine with Unmasked and Masked versions (2 sprites each).

I really didn't feel like recoloring it (the tongue), it seems fine to me.
I was doing my Physics homework when these popped into my head:

(Core-zis 'sis'-tor) [Derived from the words Quark and Transistor. A Quark being a sub-subatomic particle, common in particle physics; and a Transistor being an electrical component commonly found in computers]

Corzistor was originally discovered after the first test of quantum teleportation on a living organism. Instead of teleporting, the electrode quivered oddly and evolved. This gave birth to a new branch of Physics: Quantum evolution theory. Corzistor has the ability to manipulate electrons surrounding it's body, letting loose extremely intense bolts of focused energy. It is rumored that these bolts contain enough energy to create an entire planet, though the intensity of Corzistor's attacks have never been actually measured.

(I got this one from my Physics homework too.)
Cyraptor (Sigh-rap-tor) [Derived from the words Cyrogenics and Raptor. Cryrogenics being the study of objects at really cold temperatures, and Raptor of course being a type of ancient dinosaur]

Tuartrica (Two-ar-trick-ah) [Derived from the word Tuatara, a near extinct reptile that lives in the islands off of New Zealand. These reptiles have a legendary "third eye" which detects sunlight, though its true purpose is unknown.]

Just don't mispell the raptor one...then its a Craptor...which kind of sucks being I'd invision it as something that would derived by something along the lines of my name. Go Craptor! Is he blue or brown to match terrain? ....lol, I soppose that is how I intended it come out... What if it where fire? Then derived from Pyrogenics...Pyraptor? No mispellings there...It'd be cool to do both... and have them related in some way, like the different Slug things in Shinto that change on different sides of the world, or the bug thing...(it changes type...Burmy? I think that is it's name)

Electric/Dark...thated be a no...unless you count Dark Electrode :p

Tuatara like the lizard from New Zealand? Make its ability with this thought: "parietal eye"

Cool ideas and names. Might be hard to make a lizard pokemon without a LOT of actual spriting (lol, use Keceleon :p). The raptor will be easy though...a lot of things readily apparent for use.

Don't you gotta love homework...lol. I don't know about you but I usually make the pokemon before the name...you end up with weirder stuff like that :D...Metabat and such. 99% ready to update mine!!! (I had dinner:))
 
lol, I was originally going to make a fission pokemon, but it ended coming out as Cyraptor instead. I might go with your idea, I'll have to think of an evolution scheme.
I'm currently working on the Corizistor sprite (It's not working TOO well, but I think I just need to fiddle with it a bit) It's amazing what schoolwork will do to you....:p

BTW I renamed mine: Trepter...Masked and Unmasked versions are up, as well as his signiture attack (Im going to try to mske one for each person I make...makes them a bit more unique IMO. When Trepter is done wit I'm remaking Metabat :p....(that'll problly be the only person I remake...the others wheren't that great:()
 
can you make a umdialeon [umbreon , dialga and empoleon put together with some wings to like chidzars] and givve me a link too plz
 
Lol, these are some nice sprites. I especially like the Corzistor, because it's a really well drawn Pokemon, but I don't ever see it being an actual Pokemon. It's mostly in the eyes, they're of a bit, and not aimed at you when you battle it.
But the rest of it is flipping sweet .

Thanks for the support guys, and yah, the eye placement gave me a big headache. I really didn't know where to put them, but I really wanted to use those specific eyes. Meh, it's a fantasy pokemon, that's all I can say. Oh and SZ, what exactly did you mean by corny? I'm just curious that's all.

Randy: I've reported you for spamming, because this is so obviously NOT A SHOP!!! Do you see the word "shop" typed ANYWHERE in this entire thread (Excluding any posts made by you, and of course this post itself)? No? That's what I thought. Plus, the mix you requested would look completely stupid, it wouldn't work at all. [AND you need to work on your spelling, this is an intelligent forum, not an IM chat room] Sorry if I seem a bit blunt, but that's how I roll.
