Colors

I know this isn't a big problem at all and people don't use colors that often when posting, but I still feel like this should be addressed. I am color blind and using the color drop-down list is a little tough. I'm not really sure what colors are what, especially when their in tiny square blocks right next to each other. Is there any way to have the name of the color appear when you hover over it, or something like that? I don't know if there are many color blind people on Beach that would benefit from this, but it's just a little tough for me and I hope that there's some way to make it easier for the color blind.

That would get me the basic colors, but what about the tints and shades of them?

Using this...

Code:
[color=darkred]TEXT[/color]

I got this!

EDIT: I love the irony of this post.

That is a great alternative, but I still feel like some colors would be left out. This could be something as simple as adding a small guide in the rules as to what each color is. I'm sure there are tons of people who aren't color blind and could easily pinpoint what each color is, and there's only 40 colors. Listing them out in a table fashion, like in the drop down menu, couldn't be that hard. It can take like 10 minutes, or if you can go into the actual coding of the website and have the name appear when hovered over, that could save the time of 10 minutes (I think...)

I don't use colors often, I'll admit, but I feel like this is just something that could be added to make the site a little easier for the color blind. For now, I'll use the alternative method Futachimaru suggested, but I do hope that a more convenient method can be created.

How often do you use seriously need to use colors (never really) and why would you need to use more than basic colors, especially if you can't even tell them apart. :O But oh whatever..

I'm colour blind too.

When you choose a colour, go copy the code and ctrl f ta-dah

Unfortunately the editor is hard coded. It is not something I am able to alter.

^This pretty much works for most cases.
