I do dream often, but I don't have any re-occuring dreams that I'm aware of; however, I do have re-occuring themes in my dreams; Such as being confused, looking around, Pokemon related things and some other stuff I can't remember right now.

Yes and no. I'm not trying to offend or upset anyone when I say this, but as an example, let's say someone had a nightmare about 9/11 on 9/10/2001, that would be more than coincidence. The no part is that dreams are related to the sub-concious part of your mind and are made up of whatever your thinking about.

Mostly not, but I generaly remember the weirder or funnier ones.

Yes. I know because this has happened with me before.

I can't think of any. The more I try to remember dreams, the more of them I forget.

Do you dream often? If so, what is a common dream of yours?
  • I do not dream often at all - dreams are a rarity for me. (From what I've heard, I probably do dream often but simply never remember the dreams.)
Do you believe in prophetic dreams or visions?
  • Definitely. I've had too many cases of déjà vu to not believe such things at least a little bit.
Do you often remember your own dreams or do you tend to forget them?
  • When I do eventually dream, the amount I remember upon awakening varies. Some dreams will stick with me all day, whereas others will fizzle out of memory within the first minute of being awake.
Do you believe that real world experiences affect dreams and nightmares?
  • Definitely. For me, my dreams and nightmares are mostly composed of things directly from my life - certain objects, pets, or people appear regularly. Even my real-world emotional state affects my dreams a nightmares, though the emotion that takes over may not be the one I'm feeling when I fall asleep.
Describe a memorable dream or recurring dream that you have.
  • Its hard to explain just because of how basic it is, but there's one recurring nightmare/dream I've had for a while now: I'm spending time with a girl. Her face is always obscured by something (sunglasses or bright light, for example). By "spending time," that's it, just hanging out. Talking, sitting around, walking, enjoying the scenery... On the surface it's boring, but every moment is so sickeningly cozy, happy, serene, peaceful, comforting... When I wake up it haunts me all day. The fact the moment wasn't real, the fact those feelings existed only because of the dream... I can never recognize the girl, either. She's just "there." It's actually very frustrating. I can't even call it a nightmare because the subject matter is so positive, but the lasting effect is more negative than any terror-based nightmare I've ever had.

Do you dream often? If so, what is a common dream of yours?

On average I tend to remember one dream per night.

Do you believe in prophetic dreams or visions?

I do not believe in prophetic dreams or visions.

Do you often remember your own dreams or do you tend to forget them?

For the most part I forget the majority of what I dreamed upon waking up, however there is the odd dream that I will remember for the rest of the day.

Do you believe that real world experience affect dreams and nightmares?

Totally! Although sometimes my dreams seem to have nothing to do with what has been going on in my life.

Describe a memorable dream or recurring dream that you have.

I don't have any recurring dreams, and I can't remember ever having any. A couple of months ago I had a dream in which I won a one million dollar lottery! It was the first "lottery dream" that I ever had! :) In the dream, I thought I was dreaming so I tried to determine whether or not I was dreaming. I decided that the "dream" was actually real life... then I woke up.

Do you dream often? If so, what is a common dream of yours?
  • I feel like I dream (or at least, remember my dreams) more than most -- probably a good four or five nights a week.
Do you believe in prophetic dreams or visions?
  • To a point. At least in my case, whenever I've had something happen to me that has already done so in a dream, I chalk it up to me thinking about things that are likely to occur anyway.
Do you often remember your own dreams or do you tend to forget them?
  • On particularly dream-friendly nights, when I can recall most of them, it usually seems as if I fall asleep, dream, wake up, fall asleep, dream, wake up, and so on and so forth.
Do you believe that real world experience affect dreams and nightmares?
  • Without a doubt. When I'm dreading something upcoming, I can usually count on having a dream or two about it (and like Xous, my emotional state has a huge impact on the quality of the dream).
Describe a memorable dream or recurring dream that you have.
  • As I've aged, I've found that my recurring dreams have definitely diminished. When I was younger, I would have recurring dreams pretty frequently, though I can't recall any of them now and I really no longer have them. Clearly, though, mine is an isolated incident as Xous and I are relatively similar in age and he still has them. Funny how the mind works, eh?

Do you dream often? If so, what is a common dream of yours?

LOL yeah, my dreams are very random and colorful. Sometimes I get awesome realistic dreams where I can jump like Inuyasha, eat food ( can taste it too!) I get very special dreams sometimes if theres something important that comes up, but they are mostly random.

Do you believe in prophetic dreams or visions?

oooooooooooooooooh yeah. Heck yeah. I actually get them! I got one literally last week. I had a dream I was home in Minnesota because of a special aurora storm. I was running through the woods looking for a clear opening of the sky, but the trees and clouds were covering everything. It JUST so happens that there was a storm going on up north in MN, Canada, etc it was huuuuuge-at the EXACT time I was having the dream, I had NO idea there was going to be auroras anytime because I live in the south, its not really on my "watch list" for skyevents.I usually have abstract dreams. Right after I woke up, I checked my aurora radar app and checked the news! I was amazed. Usually when I have dreams that are movie-like and life-like they are a sign.

Also, I had a bad dream one time that I was a fetus-inside my mom- and I could hear my mom and my real dad talking about having an abortion and how my grandma wouldnt let them because they are religious. My dad didnt seem ready. Well.... guess that answered my biggest question in life. I am gonna take the hint. My dad wasnt around at all in my life and after my mom used me for money, she even malnourished me my entire life, the when I became a teenager she emancipated me and threw me out in the snow. Yeah... gonna take the hint from that dream she never wanted me. I was just a tool for money.

Do you often remember your own dreams or do you tend to forget them?

My nightmares I remember, the splotchy hodge-podge I will gradually remember throughout the night ( not day because I am nocturnal! :p)

Do you believe that real world experiences affect dreams and nightmares?

YES. I get nightmares about my abusive memories a child. I also have dreams about stuff that happened that day or stuff I am stressed about.

Describe a memorable dream or recurring dream that you have.

mmmm mostly I have these horrible re-occurring dreams that I wake up and im in my old bedroom in indiana. It scares me because I always have to try to find a way to the airport to get home to my husband, my home, my job, my animals, all the way in Texas. Thats really the only re-occurring dream I have and 99% of my nightmares. I think im scared to go back to the place where everything horrible happened, where my biggest struggles in life trying to get to my man took place. Every day I lived there I would try to plot out a way to escape that horrible place and get to the airport and live with my ( future husband at the time) ; ) Anytime I have that dream I wak up and hug my spouse and HARD as I can even tho it wakes him up and makes him grumpy lolol.

I have a cool dream I remember when I was a kid that I rode my bike to the sun, poked it with a popcicle stick and sunydelight splashed out of the sun! X'D

Do you dream often? If so, what is a common dream of yours?

I dream well...I dream sometimes. Maybe three times a month i guess. Lots more if things are happening around town or the world and such. A common dream of mine used to be the one where I was really little and we were walking in Wal-Mart (I don't know) and we turned the corner and there was a HUGE spider that my dad later killed with a lowly bottle of Windex. Thats probably because I have a HUGE fear of spiders. I haven't gotten that dream in a while though. My nightmares now are either falling or all of my friends dying.

Do you believe in prophetic dreams or visions?

My dad had something like that once. It was about a car crash. So yes?
Do you often remember your own dreams or do you tend to forget them?
I remember them a lot, though lately I feel like I haven't dreamed.

Do you believe that real world experience affect dreams and nightmares?

Absolutely. I've always had a weird experience with spiders, and they often end up in my dreams.

Describe a memorable dream or recurring dream that you have.

Same one as above.

  • Do you dream often? If so, what is a common dream of yours?

I do dream often, but I have way too many dreams to count.

Do you believe in prophetic dreams or visions?

I do believe in it. The last time, I dreamed that me and my family were driving down a fancy city under a sunny day when suddenly gargantuan meteors with violet-orange fire trailing behind it crashed down onto the tall building beside us. When I woke up, it kind of made me think how similar it was to the end of the world.

Do you often remember your own dreams or do you tend to forget them?

I remember some dreams when it has a connection to my emotions. But most of the time, I tend to forget it at the moment I wake up.

Do you believe that real world experience affect dreams and nightmares?

Definitely. Before I went to sleep one night, a sudden fear of losing my family struck me in my sleep. Then the dream unfolded into a scene where a thief holding a knife came down beside my family's car and threatened my father. Blood licked the air around us and I found him bleeding, but to my astonishment he acted as if it never happened. Then perhaps my fear went overboard, and in the dream I found myself transforming into wolf-bear hybrid and lunged out of the car window. My claws found it's way into the man's abdomen and furiously managed to slice him completely in half. Then the dream ended right on the spot.

Describe a memorable dream or recurring dream that you have.

    Read it above.

Do you dream often? If so, what is a common dream of yours?
Depends on real-life experiences. Other times, I have lucid dreams.

Do you believe in prophetic dreams or visions?
Yes. I can't really explain more.

Do you often remember your own dreams or do you tend to forget them?
Usually, if my dream ends and I wake up. Oftentimes I wake up when my dream ends.

Do you believe that real world experience affect dreams and nightmares?
Yeah. One time, I was sleeping in my mother's bed when someone lifted me up into my bedroom. Then I woke up there.

Describe a memorable dream or recurring dream that you have.
I have a long list. I remember almost everything. One dream that I haven't had is my fear of being too smart for my own good. :p

Do you dream often? If so, what is a common dream of yours?
I dream almost every night. I don't think I've had a reoccurring dream if that's what you mean by common.

Do you believe in prophetic dreams or visions?
I will when I have one. Until then I'll keep believing it's highly unlikely, but nothing's impossible.

Do you often remember your own dreams or do you tend to forget them?
I remember them when I wake up but forget them quickly.

Do you believe that real world experience affect dreams and nightmares?
It's been proven, so yes.

Describe a memorable dream or recurring dream that you have.
I'll get back to you if I remember an....appropriate memorable one.

I do not believe in prophetic dreams or visions.

Describe a memorable dream or recurring dream that you have.

I had a dream last night that my girlfriend's sister turned into a giant cockroach that walked on two legs and had a big nashville hot chicken. It kept saying "awwwwww yeah. rub that babay RUB IT! AHHHHHHHHHHH" It was VERY weird.

Do you dream often? If so, what is a common dream of yours?
People dream all the time. They might forget the though. My dreams are too scattered to fit one genre.

Do you believe in prophetic dreams or visions?
Not really. I think that it's the brain making these images, not an outside force.

Do you often remember your own dreams or do you tend to forget them?
Like I said everybody dreams, if you wake up in the middle of a dream you'll remember it.

Do you believe that real world experience affect dreams and nightmares?
Actually the other day I fell asleep with YGOTAS playing in the background [on an automatic playlist]. I had a dream about the characters.
Maybe that isn't a good example.

Describe a memorable dream or recurring dream that you have.
It's silly, but I remember 2 different ones:
- when I was in 2nd grade, and I fell asleep on the couch and dreamed that I had a babysitter who looked like Voldemort. He was a neat freak and got angry when I sneezed. [For some reason my sister's friend was wearing a towel]. After a while a nearby teddy grew super huge and starting trashing the town. I was running away from it in my town which was similar to Mt. Vernon, but had a dead end of houses that wasn't there in real life.
Finally, the three bandit from Disney's Three Musketeers was there.
- This one just happened. I was in Egypt [or somewhere in Africa] at a party that seemed like an afterparty. What happened during the party is irrelevant, but when I woke up it felt like somebody was holding the blanket I was under down [Sleep Paralysis]. I got out of it by first opening my eyes, then moving my hands, then getting power over my entire body. Then I went to play my 3DS. And then I woke up again.
