There should be rules for the host when you wait 10+ days, its not like your writing a 300 page essay on the life of a Magikarp or anything!
I can do the faces to you know >:/
@Plasma Dragon, to be fair to Vom it takes a lot to write one of these chapters. The length is a considerable amount of pages and the fact that these chapters have a real proper purpose (hinting at a murderer/making sure the murderer is still doing the murders but not hinting too much) so it takes far more time to write a chapter than you might think. I don't mind the wait, and it really doesn't seem like 2 weeks since the last chapter.

@Celever Yes I know it takes a lot for @Vom to write these (usually) humorous chapters of this fun game. And I also know that @Vom (hopefully) has better things to do with his life than write all day. And I'm sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings with my impatience...
Listen up, everyone! Guess what! Chapter is here!

Chapter 7
“Yeah, right!” said Brooks, “we all know you wanted him dead, just like Hedron. To be honest, I think it’s a miracle that he’s still unharmed…”
“You still don’t trust me, do you? If it wasn’t for me-”
“If it wasn’t for you, all this killing could have been avoided!” yelled Lilligant, somewhat upset but still sobbing. “If you were a b-better security guard, you would’ve already caught this murderer! Assuming it’s n-not you, of course…”
“You know what? Fine!” Eggsploded Togepi. “I’ll leave the train, see if the killing stops. Good luck, y’all! Oh, and if you’re interested in what the Frism said, I’ve left a note about it somewhere in the train. I’m pretty sure you’ll have to turn the train upside down to find it!”
And before anyone could stop him, he got out of the train and headed towards an unknown destination.
“Well, wasn’t that a surprise,” started Aulus. “I guess we’ll look for the little note of the treacherous fella once this all has settled down, and-”
“Uh, Electivire?” said Gardevoir, as if she had seen a ghost.
“What’s wrong, Gardevoir?”
“You really should come see this,” she replied slowly.
Electivire walked over to the window where she was standing, and what he saw left him taken aback.
“No, it’s impossible,” started the driver. “I-it’s just not possible. We’re on a railroad. You can’t just get lost or miss your stop…”
Not wanting to believe it, he decided to step outside and look around.
They were in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by nothing but dunes and Cacturnes. No train station, no conference building, no more rails, nothing. Not even Togepi, who walked out of the train moments earlier, was visible.
Still, being the good driver he was, he considered his options. They could wait for help he knew wouldn’t come. Or they could stay in the train, live from its supplies. De-mount it and build a shelter and tools with its parts. As long as Hedron’s alive, of course, he thought. That’s a problem…
Wondering what was taking him so long, everyone decided to walk out of the train, only to panic when they realized the fate that awaited them. However, there was not a single complaint to be heard. Surprised that no one had said anything, he looked around. What he saw left him without words.
Everyone was talking, or, more exactly, moving their mouths, yet Electivire couldn’t hear a thing. Blaming the scorching sun, he went inside the train.
However, what he was inside of wasn’t the wagon at all. It was a very dark place, and he could feel a carpet under his feet. He used Electric Terrain to light up the place, and he saw he was in some sort of hall. The ceiling was very tall, and there were many paintings of Pokémon on the walls.
There was a classy, eerie-looking chandelier hanging on the roof, looking as if even the slightest disturb would be able to make it fall. Strangely enough, Spinarak webs and dust were nowhere to be found, as if the whole place had just been cleaned, perhaps for their arrival.
On the left side of the hall, there 4 doors, the first one was only a few feet away from him. On the right side, there were only a couple of wooden shelves full of books, also lacking any webs or dust.
About 20 meters from him, in the front, there were 2 sets of stairs. He couldn’t see where either one led, but the one on the left went upstairs and the other one went downstairs. The carpet also covered part of the stairs.
What a nice place, the Thunderbolt Pokémon thought. However, the more he looked around, the more it gave him the creeps. This place was obviously pretty old, but it lacked any signs of webs, dust, or anything. He also felt a weird atmosphere, like an omnipresent presence. He just wanted to leave that place as soon as possible.
He turned around and opened the door, only to find himself lying in his bed. Was this all a dream? No, impossible. It was all so real…
To confirm his suspicions, he got up and walked around the train. He saw everything as he had left it before getting down and being in that hall, if he had been there at all.
Except for the fact that he didn’t find any passengers or Staff on board. He went outside, only to find no one. He was starting to really panic.
“Guys?” he started yelling. “This isn’t funny! Don’t think you’ll get away like this! If I find you-”
“Electivire?” asked a confused Pokémon.
“Brooks?” asked Electivire, relieved that there was someone with him. “Where did everyone go?”
“Gwah ha ha! While you were inside the train, we walked around a bit and we found an old house. Really creepy, dude. All the lads are there!”
“Huh? I would’ve seen them, I was there.”
“What? That’s impossible. We were all there, I was just coming back to tell you what we’d found.”
“I’m telling you, I was in that house. It gave me the creeps. I ended up in it when I entered the train, somehow. You can go and try it out yourself.”
“Uh, I’m not too sure about this, but I guess I’ve got nothing to lose by trying.”
“Alright everyone, listen up,” started Seir. “With both Togepi and Electivire gone, I’m on charge.”
No reaction from anyone.
“Wow, I, uh, appreciate the enthusiasm. So, until Brooks comes back with Electivire, I suggest we all take a room and rest a bit. ”
No reaction, again.
“Well, since there are no objections, go and pick a room. I’ll be checking the rooms later, when everyone has settled down somewhere.”
Everyone decided to stick to their roommates from their rooms in the train for some reason, except for Nidoking. He decided to go to Scizor’s room until either Seir or Brooks came back. He didn’t want to be alone.
Meowstic didn’t want to enter his room. Not yet, anyway. Not with Aulus in it. He quietly walked away from everyone and went sit on the stairs, using Light Screen to deflect the light, which effectively turned him invisible.
When there was not a soul to be seen, and after making sure Aulus wasn’t in the room, he went inside.
A while after, when checking the rooms, Seir found the dead body of Gallade, with his swords damaged and a big hole in his chest, and summoned everyone there. However, neither Aulus nor Meowstic were anywhere to be found.
“Hm, that Aulus. I knew he was hiding something!” said Seir. “We should split up and look for him. I’d like to ask him a few questions.” The mere fact that Meowstic existed didn’t even come to his head.
Brooks opened the door and stepped inside. He found himself in a very dark room, where he could barely see anything.
“Gwah ha ha! I guess he wasn’t kidding after all.”
Just as he was about to turn, he thought he heard something.
“Hm? Is there anyone here?”
Only the silence answered his question.
“Heh, I must be getting old.”
Suddenly, he saw a shadow move at the speed of light, somewhere in the room.
“This prank ain’t no fun, whoever it is!” said Brooks, whose breath was starting to quicken. Despite his usually bold nature, he was starting to feel each of his heartbeats, each breath he took. “Show yourself, or I’ll have to Hydro the Pump out of you!”
No reply, but now that his eyes were starting to get used to the dark, he could better see the room he was in. It was bigger than he first thought, and for some reason it had no windows. He also started to see more and more shadows. His imagination, the speed of the shadow, or simply the fact that there was more than one shadow, he couldn’t know, but what he knew is that the shadow was going to kill him.
“Gwah ha ha! I warned you, lad! Let’s see if you’re so quick after this!”
But before he could fire his mighty Hydro Pump, there was a bright flash of light. Terrified and blinded temporarily, he started to fire his cannons randomly in despair, but to no effect. The shadow evaded all and each of his shots with a blinding speed, so well that it almost seemed like teleportation.
It was closing in on Blastoise, but he couldn’t see it. He had lost all sense and was now controlled by his fear. As he continued to randomly fire, he felt a lot of pressure on the back of his shell. Seeing how quickly his shell was breaking, he closed his eyes, and resigned himself to accept his fate.
