Mods, stop counting! Fake counting is just confusing. At the moment we are using phases and we are currently in the member counting phase. If you want a turn at counting, you'll have to let the members set a new record

MtC, I define someone who breaks the chain as the person who effects the resetting of the counter to zero by posting. If a non-counter posts directly after this, then the chain is not broken as it is on zero. I hope this clears up any confusion.

This is a break post, but I have something to address:
With all of the posts, it's hard to follow rules that aren't put in the OP. The rule change is best indicated in the title and then put in the original post. Just a note for future changes because I think these past situations could have otherwise been avoided (like the counting / phases rules).
In other words, just put in the title that there are rule changes and put those new rules in the thread once you think of them!
