A Counter must be able to both switch into the Pokémon it's supposed to counter, with little to no risk to itself, and also pose an immediate threat to said Pokémon!!!
Maybe posting that in big, red font will make people notice.
Maybe posting that in big, red font will make people notice.
This is a game to expand our knowledge of the metagame, while also having fun in the process.
Here's how it works:
Poster A (we'll call him James) posts a Pokemon (like Smack Down Landorus).
Poster B (we'll call her Donna) posts a counter to Smack Down Landorus, like Physical Wall Tangrowth.
Poster C (we'll call him Sean) posts a counter to Physical Wall Tangrowth.
I think you get the idea.
There's only a couple of ground rules:
1. YPPY rule. In case you weren't around when the game corner was here, or you forgot, YPPY stands for You-Person-Person-You. What it means is that after you post, you have to have two posts after your post to post again.
2. Sets are a requirement, just so we know what the Pokemon we're supposed to counter has without looking it up. As of Post #29, explanations are required.
3. Try to avoid repetition. Skarmory isn't the only counter to Haxorus, As of post #68, no more Shedinja. As of post #79, no more Skarmory or Blissey.
4. No Ubers!
So yeah, let's begin:
