2. Sets are a requirement, just so we know what the Pokemon we're supposed to counter has without looking it up. As of Post #29, explanations are required.
Just FYI. Nice knowing people can read. >.<

Anyways, to counter PMJ's Blissey, I would use this:

Terrakion @ Choice Band
Trait: Justified
4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- X-Scissor
- Sacred Sword

Hits Blissey's incredibly low defense stat, and for super-effective damage to boot. Seismic Toss is a 4HKO (I think Terrakion has over 300 HP), while Close Combat or Sacred Sword easily takes Blissey down.

Dugtrio @ Focus Sash
Trait: Arena Trap
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Sucker Punch
- Stealth Rock
- Reversal

Switch in on a fighting move and survive with 1 HP then Reversal for the OHKO. More of a check than a counter, but oh well.

Groudon @ Leftovers
Trait: Drought
252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Dragon Tail
- Thunder Wave
- Stealth Rock

Has enough defense to take anything Terrakion uses. Can setup SR, cripple with TWave, phaze with Dragon Tail, or just KO with EQ.

I was ninja'd, but it still counters. Sillykyle, your defenition of a counter is misconcepted. Slapping a Sash on something doesn't just make it a counter like that, chances are I have hazards up. Name of the game is Counter that Pokemon, not check it. This would be too easy if it was the latter.

As a mod note, please follow the explanation rule or I will dish out spam warnings. We want this to be a competitive, fun, learning expierience, not some silly c/p game. Thanks!

Venusaur @ Leftovers
Trait: Chlorophyll
252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Energy Ball
- Hidden Power Fire
- Growth
- Sleep Powder

Takes Earthquake leaving about 40% left. Then outspeeds Groudon in the sun and puts it to sleep. Use Growth once, and then use Energy Ball for the KO.

If sleep powder misses, you lose. That makes it a check, not a counter.

Heatran @ Leftovers
Trait: Flash Fire
252 HP/252 Sp Def/4 HP
Calm Nature

- Lava Plume
- Roar
- Stealth Rock
- Earth Power/Hidden Power Ice/Toxic/Protect/Whatever the heck you want. Run Crunch for all I care

Heatran is immune to HP Fire and is 6HKO'd by +6 Energy Ball. With max damage every time. He can either phaze away Venusaur's boosts or hit it hard with Lava Plume for I believe the OHKO.

Politoed @ Choice Specs
Trait: Drizzle
252 HP/252 SpAtk/4 Spe (30 Atk IV's/30 SpAtk IV's)
Modest Nature
-Hydro Pump
-Ice Beam
-Focus Blast
-Hidden Power (Grass)

Take any attack Heatran wants to dish out and OHKO with Hydro Pump.

Mantine @ Leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb
252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef
Calm Nature
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Scald
- Hidden Power Flying

This Mantine can switch into any move the aforementioned Politoed has and easily stall it out using the Rest + Sleep Talk combination or try and burn the Pokémon coming in on the switch. Since Politoed's strongest move to hit Mantine with is Ice Beam (Water Absorb makes Mantine immune to Hydro Pump and it recovers 25% of Mantine's health) which only does 90 damage max, Mantine can do whatever it desires when it's up against a Choice Specs Politoed, or any Politoed really. Hidden Power Electric could be scary, but Hidden Power Grass is virtually always used to hit bigger threats such as Gastrodon and Rotom-W harder.

Also, I've seen people use Heatran a lot already and although I realize that Heatran's stats and typing make it viable to write it down as a counter to a lot of things, perhaps it's more fun to try and not repeat the counters too much. Just a suggestion. [:
