Yeah, but then Gyarados can choose what they want to get rid off. Then they're likely to pick their Regi, Uxie and stuff like that. Dusknoir doesn't give them a chance.

I mean, most gyarados decks only have 2-5 energy total, and usually half of those are call or psychic.

So gyarados is forced to waste Warp points. At most they can use 4, and once thats over, all they can do is watch as things like salamence power up.

I have never seen luxray in Gyarados. There is no sychnisity (made up word) with those 2.

And as I already said, things like Warp or Cyclone, can only be used once each. So at most, 4 times.
What happens when you have used up your warps and cyclones?

Luxray is what makes any low-energy-high-damage deck good. Gyarados biting the dust? Put up Luxray, level him up, pull something to the front, Poketurn and go on your merry way. Or SSU Gyarados and do the same.

And oh, you say I only have 4 Warp Point/Cyclone. Yes, thats true...but I still 2HKO anything you put up. And don't forget SSU.

Luxray is used exactly like Cyclone, except you get to pick what you want to kill. It's in most lists that make room for it or don't play a lot of Cyclone.
