How commonly played is this card? I haven't been to a tournament or league in a long time. I was thinking of building a deck on it, but wanted to know first how pop. it is. Since I don't like playing decks everyone is using. And also, what pairs well with it?

Edit: Please read the Player's Sandbox rules before posting. I added the link. ~EspeonROX.

Crobat Prime from HS-Unleashed.

noone is using it.

The problem is that if opponent retreats (most decks in meta run Pokémon with low retreat) you only did 40 damage to them.
Run him with something that prevents the opponent from retreating as easily, like a couple of Dugtrio (RR or SV I think), which gives them 20 damage when they retreat.

Probably the best cards to use with it are Vileplume and Dugtrio PT. Vileplume stops your opponent from PokeTurning, and if you stack a few Dugtrio they are taking 20-60 damage whenever they retreat. The only problem here would be if they had warp energy.

Hope I helped,

I used it at our local BR and wound up in 4th place thanks to it combined with Vileplume, Umbreon UD and Gengar SF.

It's a great tech for lock decks at it forces switches quickly and can snipe off things for a quick prize card.

I've managed to save myself with Severe Poison against Dialga G level X, winning a match.

Alright, cool. Thanks. (and sorry about forgetting to put up a link. Was tired and it just slipped my mind).
A few more questions. How many Cro/Gol/Zu bats should I run? And is Expert belt worth putting in? Even though it won't increase poison's power, it will boost my HP to 150, which is a respectable amount.

I would do a 4-2-3/1 Crobat, with one of them being the normal Crobat (non-prime) just in case you run into Steelix Prime or are having trouble with Poisoning them for some reason. I wouldn't run E-belts, as they just get your opponent an extra prize and don't have enough benefit to be worth it.

It would be better to add defenders, which you dont need. Just play it as a speed deck, and poison everything before they can set anything else up. And either luxray or reversals to make sure your not poisoning anything that can evolve or level up to break the poison.

I think dugtrio RR would be good possible bubble coat tech plume is not a good idea to many cards crobat g not a good isea either genagar lvl x sf is a ok idea (skill dive bench compound pain FTW) plus in case of steelix prime

Are pokemon for setting up a good idea? Like Sableye, Uxie and that sort?
