Croblume Poltergeist - Crobat Trainer Lock attempt

Hi, first of all, this is my first post here so please be kind :)
I live in Poland, and since Poland doesn't participate in Organized Play (no championsips, regionals and stuff) players have to organize everything (the place for tournament, prizes, players... which can be pain in...). But, what i wanted to say is that in Poland we still play DP-on. I know rest of the world play MD-on, but we are kinda not up to date and people whine about not playing Claydol's GE or Roseanne's Researches.

So this deck is also DP-on but if you feel you can help me make this MD-on and still be playable, please do.

I tried to create a deck with Crobat Prime - I've seen few attempts but... Crobat is weak against steelix prime, well... everything that hits hard
still, this is what I present to you

3 Zubat UL - 2 Golbat UL - 3 Crobat Prime UL
2 Misdreavus UN - 2 Mismagius UN
2 Oddish UN - 1 Gloom UN - 2 Vileplume UN
2 Diglett PL - 2 Dugtrio PL
2 Spiritomb AR

2 Rare Candy

4 Bebe's Search
3 Roseanne's Research
2 Professor Elm's Training Method
2 Marley's Request
2 Emcee's Chatter
2 Seeker
1 Cheerleader's Cheer
1 Professor Oak's New Theory
1 Looker's Investigation
1 Professor Rowan

8 Psychic Energy
5 Fighting Energy
3 Rainbow Energy

the idea is to youse Rare Candies to evolve crobat and vileplume hence the line 3-2-3 and 2-1-2
if the starter is spirotomb then evolve misdreavus and attack with mismagius's poltergeist - looks like fun
if my attacker is crobat, and have vileplume on bench - dugtrio is obligatory on the bench, at least one :)

I feel that there is too much energy cards.. and something's missing - I don't want to play BTS cause I don't have loose 10$ for this card...
If you have any fixes for this deck, please let me know.

Thanks :)

I would take out

-2 Misdreavus UN
-2 Mismagius UN
-2 Professor Elm's Training Method
-2 Marley's Request
-2 Emcee's Chatter
-1 Professor Rowan
=-9
And add

+2 Baltoy GE
+2 Claydol GE
+2 Spritomb AR
+1 Pokemon Collector
=+5

This should help out alot with cositancy and any posible VileGar Match ups.

Now you would have 4 cards to work with. As far as countering Steelix goes you could use cards like:

Arcanine SW: He hits hard enough to knock out an E-belted Steelix with Inferno Rush, and being able to switch him active when you evolve him along with all the other energys he needs, help make up for his suckish energy cost.
He has 100 HP [solid for a stage1] and is able to hit for a whoping 120. Sadly, he will only be able to attack knock out 2-3 Steelix's due to takeing 40 damage per attack and takeing 30 for an Energy stream. Not to metion his slow set up.
None the less, if you do set him up, he can sweep the game. I would recomend playing 2 so that when one is about to get KO'd you can just lay the other down and Flame Dash
to a new one; then seeker up the old one.

HP: 100

Poke-Power Flame Dash
When you play Arcanine on the bench you can switch him with your active and move all the energys with them.

Inferno Rush: {R}{R}{C}{C} 120
Arcanine take 40 damage.

You may also think about takeing out the lines of Dugtrio and replaceing them with either Toxcroak or Weezing from MT. Toxicroak can be used to further lock your oppnet be not letting them evolve or Lv up to get rid of the poison.

Weezing can be used to maximize damage as its body adds one damage counter to poison each time, turning a start of 40 damage for {P} to 50 or 60 for {P}.

If you decide to use these then I would do this:

Take out:
-2 Diglit
-2 Dugtrio
-5 {F}
-3 Rainbow Energy
= -12-4[from before]=-16

Add In:
+2 Koffing\Croagunk
+2 Weezing MT\ToxicroakMT
+6 {R}
+2 Growlith
+2 Arcanine SW
=14-16= -2

If you don't want to take out the Dugtrio then you won't add in the other tech, but every thing elese is the same.

So you still have two spots wich could be, Seekers, a Collectors, or anything realy, it is up to you.

Hope I helped.

DGX is okay against Steelix, but Blaziken FB LV.X would be the best choice. You probably wouldn't even want this, I see you just want Crobat. May I ask why you paired Crobat with TL? (just asking, not being sarcastic)

Why TL? Because people play poketurns, switches, warp points which are annoying :)

As for Weezing - I tried that, but still, no heavy attacker and with two weezings - 60 damage for poison - sound awesome, but opponent can switch pokes or level them up, so it's one-turn damage mostly until my crobat gets ko
Claydols, hmm - I thought about it and decided not to put them, but now... maybe 1-1 would be enough

Pokemon Collector - helps you search for 3 basic pokemons... still, since I can play Roseanna's Research - I would add additional Roseanna in place of Collector
that Arcanine makes me wonder... kinda good, cheap (money-wise) but the recoil is unpleasant - and 4 energies - DCE would be usefull here

and yes, NeoCandy - your reply was very helpfull :)

I was thinking that if you managed to stall with spiritomb for 2-3 turns you would be able to get some energy's on a rowlith or the Spiritomb than evolve Growlith from your hand to flame dash switch him up. This should allow you to keep a consitant Flame Dash Seeker coby for the majorty of the game, against Steelix. I perfer this card since it is the only stage 1 that can 1 shot ANY Steelix and has good recovery.
