Ruling Cursed Drop x2?

Hello i was just wondering if i used cursed drop and the defending pokemon was weak to psychic would it double or would it still be 3 damage counters? Thanks for the help.

Damage counters are just damage counters. They are not affected by weakness or resistance. This is because damage counters is different than damage.~KA
