Custom Title Problem

When choosing custom titles you can make your title be a title you shouldn't be able to use.

This would only be a problem if user titles actually meant something. Since they don't, it's fine. A newbie could have the user title "Elite Forum Member" if he wanted...
 
What if some moron comes along, have the name " Water Pokemon Master " (NOTE: The new name is e instead of é, so ppl may mistake the n00b for the real WPM), and bosses other n00bs? Then, if he has the user title as : "Forum Adminstrator" ;, won't he cause chaos?

Actually, that's happened before. GPM and I beat him down... but he got to two posts before banned.

LOL! Talk about being funny. This guy has the same user title as WPM, same claimed address, just an extra "s" in his name (Water Pokemons Master), and 0 posts. LOL!
 
Thanks PMJ,but if I were to type in "Gym Leader" for example, even though I am not,it wouldn't be against the rules?
 
There are no rules made on that yet, but I think clarification with a moderator would be better.
 
Go ahead. Who cares what your title is, really?

I mean think about it, if you go around posing as a staff member, you'll probably be banned. What good is that going to do? No one is going to bother you for having a title the forum hasn't given you itself yet.
 
If you are going to put "Gym Leader", it's not against the rules as you're not trying to pretend to be a staff member.
 
umm,if this is somthing to do with this,does that meen you could swear in you're title(obviously not me!).could you get banned for that?
 
You'll be asked to change it. If you refuse to comply, then you'll be banned.
